I noticed that after posting and updated my post to note that. It's really super simple if you know a tin knocker it would be easy to bend one up or someone with a 3D printer could easily make the plastic version. I even tried to get them to talk to Magpul about making them. I think they are more into design than business. They do still have the elastic bands. I bought a spare but my original is still good.

Ridge is very similar. But $$$. I also see a downloadable 3D plan to use an Apple air tag in it but it sort of defeats the purpose of being thin. I really like the one you showed especially for the coin. The ridge looks nice too.

MACS, that's a biotch. Sorry to here that. If your ss card was in there you might want to buy some security for a year or 2. That's way cheaper than identity theft.

Hoses specifically excluded from warranty. I argued if it's under intake manifold, that is not a maintenance item, that's internal components. Nope, it's not covered.

Feel free to send me your policy to read and anything you have received from them which denies your claim or explains why it was denied.Herfing

I was returning from Florida. Picked up my car in long term parking at airport. Used it to pay parking. Put it in cubby. It was late, I was tired. Wife was hungry. Drove in to town first to get fast food. Used watch to pay for it. Drove home. Told her to go in and eat her food, I’ll get the luggage. I did so.

Next day couldn’t find wallet. Door of car wasn’t all the way closed. No way to know if locked because daughter went to car first. She said cubby was open.

Yes I’ve been mentally retracing my steps and tearing the house apart. I gave up.

Can anyone recommend a good cigar lounge in Orlando where you can get a decent drink and a smoke? My son just texted me... evil child that he is. He knows I'm dying to get out and have a nice relaxing drink and a smoke at my local watering hole. Any tips appreciated!

Two in Orlando:

Corona Cigar in downtown Orlando and another on Sand Lake Drive nearer the attractions. Also another in Heathrow (suburbs north of Orlando) right off I-4.

Going to the Moscow of the Midwest. City full of lefties. Will tour the riot zone.... I mean, Enjoy the beautiful paintings on the boarded up windows of the businesses. Whistle

Go there about every three years. Lots of food (great gyros), plenty of parks, hiking trails and other things to do.

Our hotel is one block away from my wife’s favorite coffee shop. Two blocks from the hotel is a newer cigar lounge.

Win win.

So... just got off the phone with my wife. I've been with my wife for 27 years. In those 27 years I've seen her get tipsy twice. She just called me from the hotel pool HAMMERED. Her and my son are at the pool drinking Rum Buckets.... She was laughing so hard she couldn't speak and I had to talk to my son. All I could get out of him was "Mom is afraid to stand up.". The rest of the phone call was them laughing hysterically. I'm glad they're having a great time and at the same time kinda annoyed. I'm not there and the boy is buying.

Columbia is number two now. We a little burned out on the one here due to overuse. It's a 45 minute drive 98.2% of the time.

The new fav is mind blowing good. Beautiful first class Turkish design and art environment. Marinated filet mignon, chicken or lamb "sis kabop" are as good as any high-end steak house I have ever been to. Rest of the menu is said by Turkish and Middle Eastern people we know to be 100% authentic. Strictly Halal. Lots of Muslim families. Bosphorus in Winter Park- if you want to look it up. When you come to Orlando with your grandchildren, I'll take you and your wife to either one. Your choice!

Toshiba? Are you sure?

1. Ask Ram.
2 $309 is cheap if it is a good tv. I just got done researching tv's and finally bought a 75" Samsung (as opposed to five or six other brands and screen types) and all the features and screen types. Post or send me the link. I'll take a look at it for you.

Do they do Grub Hub thingy and do they deliver to MA?

My town really needs a good (even an OK) Middle Eastern restaurant - we have none. Ya' can't throw a dead cat without hitting a sub and pizza joint around here.

We have 4 Chinese restaurants, 1 is excellent, 2 a'right, 1 sucks.
A really good local pub restaurant (The Ale House)
A chain restaurant (the 99)
Some good greasy spoon diners (locally own proprietors).
A couple lame TexMex knock offs.
A regional chain breakfast/lunch/dinner place (Friendly's).
A (used to be excellent) local proprietor fried chicken and seafood place. But it burned down a handful of years back and the new owners (in my opinion) haven't lived up to their predecessors.

With all that said...

I sure could go for a hunk of marinated filet mignon, chicken or lamb "sis kabop" that's as good as any high-end steak house you've ever been to with the rest of the menu to be 100% authentic and strictly Halal (whatever that means, I'm not Halal but it's probably tasty)

Something like that would really hit the spot.

Dude, I can get you a 10% discount at Walmart with my employee discount card.

(actually, if you give me a heads up... I'll let you in on a little secret... while I'm checking the expiration dates on the fire extinguishers... I'll be preoccupied and you might be able to get a 100% discount, if ya know what I mean... wink, wink),

From your research, have you found one brand that sticks out more so than others? I know some people have a preference for one name over the other and some of that bias is justified but I think nowadays the gap has narrowed somewhat (only my basic educated opinion when it comes to TVs).

I'm not much of a TV techno geek and not too picky other than it having a rather crisp and clear picture but that also depends a lot on where it's going to be used and how it's used. (I need glasses to see anything crisp beyond 30 feet or so, the TV is not the limiting factor).

Environmental factors like the the room and the lighting should be considered: is it just for basic TV watching, or movie studio and home theater type watching? Watching re-runs of Friends is pretty much gonna look the same on a 4k TV than something lower res if the TV settings are set up right. Electronic stores like Best Buy (are they still in business) have been notorious of adjusting settings on their floor model TVs to favor the higher priced ones.

I've also found that the speakers in most wall mount flat screens are rather sucky so one should consider external speakers or the sound system your are going to use as part of the equation.

I generally look at TV's as a 5 yr type of thingy. Within 5 yrs, high end stuff now will be basic stuff by then. There are a rather disposable item nowadays (my opinion).

Disposable, you say? My 37" Vizio, which I've had for God knows how long, would beg to differ.

Funny story... 2 TV's and neither of them have been on for a couple months. Been watching YouTube TV on my laptop since neither of them are "smart" and I don't want to bother plugging in the HDMI that's already there. lol

Happy Friday fellas.

Shot two raccoons before work last night. One on the foot in my shed, another in a trap by wood pile. Both pretty young. The suppressor paid off shooting inside the shed with no ears. I went in there to get gloves for the one in the trap and got growled at by a coon in the rafters.

I think I'm at or over 10 for the year already. Well past 20 last year. None this year have been big enough to skin and tan the tails. Still have 3 tails on my board I never finished. For Christmas I got a bunch of tools to take full hides, but if all I get are juveniles I'll never pull one.

There's bigguns out there if the babies are around. They gotta come from somewhere. I'm not letting up. I lost two foot traps to broken chains. My chains weren't strong, but it would take a biggun to break em. Replaced with 1/4" steel cable on the traps that remain.

LG and Samsung are the major manufacturers. Sony TVs look great, but are price-prohibitive to me. Samsung also makes tv processors for the rest of the industry.

I haven't bought a decent new TV in 12-15 years because our 48" Sharp and Toshiba still both work fine- Damn it!!!

You are right about the inadequacies of today's TV speakers (usually 2 x 10w each) in even the highest end TVs... How the hell else are they going to sell you a sound bar, sub-woofer and maybe even rear speakers too?

I bought my new one directly from Samsung, and got 4 years of 0% financing with a five year extra warranty that covers damage too for the same price as Costco. After then, 8k will probably be the new standard and I'll want another new one in the house.
