Auction Won - Then Said To Be "Back Ordered"

I'm new to the CigarBid forum, so please excuse me if this has already been asked & answered.
I tried searching the forum for related key words and found no discussions on it.

I recently won a bid for four 5-packs of some cigars.
When I checked on the status of the order & shipping the next day, they were indicated to be "Back Ordered." They are now in "Processing" and I'm unsure when they will be available or shipped to me.

Perhaps I "missed" it? But nowhere during the bidding process did I see any indication that the cigars were NOT in stock when they were being auctioned. I was not pleased to be told after I'd won the bid that they were "back ordered" and I've no idea when they'll be shipped! That's rather ... dubious business!

Am I missing something?

I've never yet had a single issue with any CigarBid order. Just the opposite. I've found that CigarBid customer service bends over backwards to take very good care of their customers in every way they can.
So, this particular "glitch" really surprises me!

Again: Have I missed something?

Any advice or opinions would be appreciated.

It happens from time to time, especially for people not from the forum.

You seem like a good egg so I’ll let you in on a little secret. The owner of CBid is named Dave and he likes helping out long time forum members if we run into any issues. Call (214) 914-3337 Monday through Friday 9-4 central time and ask for Dave. Let Dave know your friends with jaderose and tell him about the issue your having and he’ll have you fixed up quicker than speyside snapping after a long Dave’s Killer bread bender.

Yah, since the pandemic, more and more “never-had-this-happen-to-me-before” issues so each case is unique yet familiar. Not much to tell you other than to call Customer Service and hope you don’t have to wait for over an hour before talking to a live and in living color human being.

I've had several backorders over the years and my last one was earlier this year and they shipped me the cigars in 2 weeks.
