I used to go to Walmart, Sears, Montgomery Ward, K-Mart, etc., etc, when I was a prosecutor to view and record video of people I was convicting for shop lifting of all sorts- from small, inconsequential items- to rings of thieves hitting stores all at once and walking out with armloads of crap.

Dan,

She won't be able to hide chit from you unless you don't know about it after you really go hunting it all down before leaving her and she is willing to commit fraud/perjury during the divorce, in which case she could get zip.

I looked up a bit about alimony in Indiana. It is common for "alimony" to last only 50% of the number of years of marriage. Another general formula used is one year for every three years of marriage. She will be presumed to be working full time when alimony is calculated.

So, you'd likely only have to pay alimony for 3-5 years and then you'd be free. Also, many divorces just settle for a discounted lump sum payment at the time of the divorce. Like giving her the house and it's equity and you keep your 401k (or the like). That would be - just one and done!

PM me if you ever want more info if you ever decide to get out.

Robert, if I left, I wouldn't have anything to bitch about but the weather. And if I moved, I couldn't even bitcfh about that. Also, she squirrels cash away. I have no idea how much or where it is. When we bought her car I thought we had nothing. She busted out $10k in a rubberband. I have no access to her savings but there's hefty monthly transfers from checking to that account. I wouldn't be surprised if she has 100k in there, in cash, not earning interest. I bumped up my account deposit a few years back after seeing that. Now I get $500/mo.

This is my bed, I made it and I lay here. And bitch about it.

Evening Ram.

Boys birthday dinner was Aurelios pizza and Dominos breadsticks.

Wife wants to watch Boondock Saints after he goes to bed. Pirating it now. I couldn't find it on any of the many streaming services I pay for or share with others who pay for it. I have it on dvd in a rubbermaid tote somewhere but this is slightly less effort than digging that up.

Buddy of mine I haven't heard from in a while, was wondering why and texted him a few weeks back but no reply.

Shrugged it off but today someone posted a gofundme on facebook for him.

Had a stroke and is in a nursing home now. He's about the same age as me.

Mikey just posted on Facebook. Still himself, but half the man he used to be. Only the right sides left.

No point in a bigger boat if you've not sailed the one you already got for a decade.

That sounds amazing.

Someday I really want to wander out there.

Our place is a little over two hours from the east entrance to Yellowstone. Drove from there up to the north entrance at gardiner Montana. Staying tonight in Bozeman. Will go back into the park at the west entrance tomorrow, and come out at the south entrance into Teton park.

Traffic was very light. Was supposed to be a traffic jam most of the summer. The smoke haze even cleared up some!

Monkey wards. That brings me back. The dot matrix printers at checkouts. Place had a certain smell too. Mightve just been mine cause it was next to the little calumet River which floods often.

Up and out early with wife and son to travel down to Boca Raton to see my daughter and her boyfriend's new apartment. Then, down to Little Havana in Miami to eat lunch at Cafe Versailles and visit the cigar factories and shops! Back home tonight by like 7pm. Long, but family-filled, fun, day.

I’m surprised none of us walking heart attacks have mentioned Atorvastatin? Damn near sharted a few minutes ago. I’ve decided I’m going to eat more fruits and vegetables. I’m also going to cut back meat and dairy. I have a conversation with my doctor about getting off statins.

Gave the boy a drone with camera for his birthday. It live plays the video on a phone app. Couldn't get it to run on my phone or wife's phone. Dug out an old phone and gave that a try - success!

It's just a Harbor freight toy, I didn't have high expectations. But am glad it worked.

Stupid family thing tonight. My mom sent out a dress code to everyone no shorts no t-shirts no bright colors no hats blah blah blah.

I'd just not go but wife says we have to, and bought new clothes just for tonight.

Yep way out-of-the-way for this trip. Got to spend time with the extended family on the wife side for the next couple of days. I have been to door County as well as herded with 8track in the past. Would be happy to do both again when the chance arises.

I look forward to that.

Cooking fish but didn't catch em.

Came across some catfish while digging through the freezer for a lump of beef to make cheesesteaks with.

I really want a dedicated outdoor kitchen someday. I do everything on my kamado grill, or the smokers, sometimes the Blackstone but that's more for camping. Would be nice to have all my tools accessible and not be in and out of the house and garage constantly.

Maybe when/if I ever build a barn I can build a covered outdoor kitchen.

Man that looks awesome.

I'm tempted to do a charter fishing trip when we go to Florida this winter.

Asked my dad if he'd wanna go. Said not if he can't see land. I'm not a huge fan of fishing but I sure do love catching, and eating.

Ate another scorpion pepper tonight. Cut one straight in half and stuffed each half in two curled up bits of fried catfish. Took 30 minutes to settle down.

Coworker texted me and asked if I wanted some ghost peppers. Fvck yeah! But also no.

Ghosts sposeda be milder than scorpion, but growing conditions play a huge role. Still excited to eat one again. Been a while and I think my tolerance is high enough to do it better than last time.

Whats wrong with me....

I'm glad I never got into hard drugs. It would be game over.

Gotta (well... wanna) finish putting together the e-bike conversion thingy this next couple of days. Since I have two day off from the circus, I was going to wedge it in between school work.

My school does 8 terms/yr. For the most part, each term is back to back with no breaks between terms except for a week around Christmas and another around spring break. So my last term ended last Sunday which means that the next term should start last Monday. I was in autopilot and started on this week's stuff for the new term that (I thought) started last Monday. Banged out a bunch of stuff during the week, was gonna finish off the stuff today (I try to set Sunday aside for school priority day).

Spent 4 hrs doing stuff late night that I thought was due today (Sunday) but it turns out it's not due until next Sunday. So all the stuff I banged out during last week puts me one week ahead. Maybe I should pay more attention but better to be early than late.

Somebody is living right. Over 180 guests and all the wedding party and provisions were bussed to a remote hilltop vineyard for the ceremony and it went off without rain.
Everyone was bussed back to the winery in town for the dinner before the sky opened up.

37 degrees in Dubois, WY. Head back to the house today. Was a nice trip. Park wasn’t too crowded. Smoke became an issue at the Tetons.
