Noticed Spey hasn’t been around.

Covid or Dave’s Bread?

He’s somewhere near Tahoe, right?

Congrats MACS, nice work.

That old 500 needed an air freshener or something...

Anyone know why we don't have that fancy "multi-quote" thing other forums have? You know, where you can quote multiple other posts at once?

Hell, who am I kidding, half the guys here have flip phones and still have their old AOL email address.

You can multi quote. Just takes some cutting and pasting. I'm not even looking to try it on the phone

I was thinking more Springsteen-ish, “Dancing in the Dark” type.

Billy Idol, glam rock, not much my thing. Not really a cave, Texas, country music, and on the weekends, local bands live at small country dance halls, rocking on Friday and country on Saturday. At home, it was older rock, metal, bluegrass, soft jazz and, classical music. MTV was still pretty good too.

I like to spoil myself once in a while with a Round Table Hearty Bacon Supreme.

Creamy garlic sauce (instead of tomato sauce), cheese, ham, sausage, bacon, diced tomatoes and green onions. It's my favorite... a bit spendy, but I do it infrequently and it's friggin' delicious.

Wife doesn't eat pork... so it's ALL mine.

If a tornado swept though SoCal... we'd be screwed, blued, and tattooed. Houses are made to withstand shaking ground... they'd be flying like Toto and Dorothy in a hurricane. There would be nothing left.

And it's 73 degrees outside... On September 1st... and the water is cold as f--k and the fish ain't biting. Sposta be back to 97 on Saturday. Not sure the water will warm up that fast. Hurricanes to the south of us off Baja usually push up warm water, but the water at the Coronado Islands is 62 fn degrees and it's usually 69/70+ this time of year.

73 degrees here. Coolest summer in the 6 years I’ve been here. My tomato garden hasn’t done anything because it’s not warm enough this year.

Global warming and stuff. Anxious

Very cool this summer, so far. Water temps are crazy low and erratic as all hell. Last Monday the 23rd the water at the rock pile (10 miles south of the 'Nados) was 70 degrees and I limited on Yellowtail. 6 days later when we went on the following Sunday it was 61. Fish were not happy... and had moved off to warmer water.... wherever that was.

Before or after the gym? Meh... prolly gonna be 2-3 lbs heavier either way. Salty pizza gonna have me holding water.

That's why you should weigh in once a week.
