In a recent CNN article, the CDC admitted that covid infections were undercounted. After wading through the propaganda, the author reveals that “more than 80% of Americans 16 and older have immunity” from Covid.
The report stated that the CDC analyzed a “survey” of recent blood samples and found that “about twice as many people have been infected with the virus as have been officially counted.”
The University of California – Berkeley Public Health department also released data in 2020 that showed “U.S. Covid-19 cases may be substantially underestimated.” Dr. Jade Benjamin-Chung, the study’s co-author and professor at Berkeley Public Health, reported that studies did not count a significant number of asymptotic people in the confirmed case counts.
From the Berkeley study: “We estimate 6,454,951 cumulative infections compared to 721,245 confirmed cases (1.9% vs. 0.2% of the population) in the United States as of April 18, 2020. Accounting for uncertainty, the number of infections during this period was 3 to 20 times higher than the number of confirmed cases.”
The Berkeley study also found that “an estimate nine times larger than the 721,245 confirmed cases (2 per 1000) reported during this period” and that “89% of infections in the U.S. were undocumented.”
The number of deaths will stay the same, but the indication of the virus’s overall lethality continues to be in question. The report stated the survey conducted by Dr. Jefferson Jones from the CDC tested an estimated 1.4 million blood samples from 17 blood collection organizations covering 74% of the population.
The survey found that by May 2021, “83.3% of samples had antibodies” to Covid. That percentage was a significant increase from the study done in December 2020, which indicated that only 11.5% of the blood samples carried antibodies for Covid. According to the report, “blood surveillance indicated the U.S. was only counting one infection out of every three true infections, that fell to one in two a year later.”
According to the Mayo Clinic, “Experts estimate that in the U.S., 70% of the population — more than 200 million people — would have to recover from COVID-19 to halt the pandemic.” However, it appears that America is heading for herd immunity through natural infection – if we haven’t already reached it. The CDC continues to push the narrative that the only way to achieve the increasingly elusive herd immunity status is for everyone, regardless of prior infection is to get vaccinated.
