The typical Democrat two stepping song and dance. POS Fauci just trying to stay relevant and anyone who still listens to the wacknut is an idiot.

Really, my statement "POS Fauci just trying to stay relevant and anyone who still listens to the wacknut is an idiot." seems quite applicable here.

we can already predict where the outbreaks will occur in December and January...

OTOH ...here's an interesting article that says we don't really know as much about the corona virus as we thought...seems there's been a two month, roughly, cycle that the infections have followed, all over the world...seems to hold true in places where human interventions have been implemented and in others where none were tried...

https://news.yahoo.com/trying-sense-covids-mysterious-2-121821028.html

I will admit I don't know as much as anybody else, other than what I see in the press, and what I can research among reliable and learned sites...and that I trust scientists who study such things more than talking head opinion makers who seem to polish their resumes...

Question is when does Xi have Saint Faucci release the next variation

Maybe when infrastructure passes the institute can get more funding just in time for the election

COVID will never be “over”. It’s out there and shall remain so, much like cancer and heart disease. Except the latter two weren’t created in a lab and released.

I still find it funny that people think Dr. Fauci is an actual medical doctor with his finger on the pulse of science. He's been a government bureaucrat for essentially his entire "professional" career.

"The 80-year-old Dr. Fauci holds a medical degree from Cornell University and began his 53-year career at NIH in 1968. He assumed his NIAID Director position in 1984 and has advised every president since President Ronald Reagan, though he serves directly under the NIH Director Francis Collins. Known as the nation’s top infectious disease expert, he qualifies for a full federal pension and social security under pre 1984 federal pension reform rules."

80 years old... worked for the Federal Government for 53 yrs (to date)... do the math... He's a career politician - nothing more, nothing less.

I'd post the data but you wouldn't understand it. It's out there if you ask the right questions. It would be a pretty vanilla Google search to see his resume.

I will commend him though, he's got a pretty good gig. He could have cashed in and be set for life with a full federal pension decades ago but he's still kicking around because... maybe he wants to work for the betterment of human life.

Yeah... he's working diligently to cure the ills of the world, promote the general welfare and make life better for the for the common man.

So it's a bad thing to serve your country (and get paid for it obviously) as long as you possibly can?

Good for him... I don't see myself working to that age... well, maybe if I got paid what he got paid (didn't read the link, but I assume it's a lot).

I wouldn't consider a lifelong bureaucrat as respectable profession. I guess good for him for being able to suck off the teet of the government for most of his adult life. (Golf clap).

But don't try to feed me the BS that he's a "professional" doctor and someone who I should respect in the medical field or someone I should take him at his word. He's a political hack with the title of Dr in front of his name. Probably hasn't done a basic physical on anyone for 40 years. Is that someone you would call a real Doctor? He's established an honorary position in the system. Again... golf clap, good for you to slime your way into a place of prominence.

Bob Geldof is an honorary Knight of Britain. Although I like the movie "The Wall" where Geldof was the star, I'm not going to honor him as a real Knight, just like I wouldn't honor Fauci as a real doctor.

If Fauci wanted to, he'd probably make smash money going up head to head on daytime TV against Dr. Oz and Dr. Phil. (I'm sure some TV execs have already approached him for a gig on TV)

Wow, you guys really hate this guy. I have to wonder though... I have my doubts that anyone would like anyone in his position if they weren't telling you what you wanted to hear.

Everyone likes a bad guy to point their finger at... I get it. Admittedly I don't really understand it... but I get it.

Anyone who thinks Fauci is just sucking off the government at $400k per year has no idea of the huge amount of money he has foregone in the real world- by working for the government. He is not doing what he does for money.

Don't want to call him a "Doctor"? You don't have to. Redefine the word any way you want, but he went through medical school and you didn't.

And, the notion that he isn't a "real" doctor because he doesn't touch patients is illogical. Is the radiologist who only read your films a real doctor? What about the pathologist who says your tumor isn't cancerous- is he a real doctor? Are they any less credible, educated and trained because they didn't touch you?

It just makes me wonder why those who lack confidence in him get so worked up whenever his name is mentioned. Don't think he's qualified for the job or that he has any useful information for you? Ignore him.

Robert thinks Fauci has foregone pallets of cash in the real world by choosing to selflessly serve humanity in the unreal world of government.Eh?

Sounds like an easy gig for a doctor, no medical practice so no building or employees, no stress of dealing with patients, no malpractice insurance, no lab work, just read other people's papers, lie like a dicktator, make stuff up for progtard TV, and cash in on being a celebrity every chance you get. And all those federal benny's too!

You clearly have no idea what specialized doctors can earn, let alone the highest level specialized experts in very narrow, critical areas of medicine. Can you say millions?
And, once again you have attempted to put words in my mouth that I did not type and do not think.
Ben's right. You are an idiot.

FWIW, both my parents retired from state government jobs. My sister retired from a federal government job. Her husband will be retiring from a federal government job in a year or two. All of them held professional positions which required secondary or higher education. All of them started in entry level jobs and went on to be promoted to administrative level positions. Positions which IMHO were and still are honorable and much needed.

You on the other hand, are a security guard. Such a job requires very little if any measurable training. It’s an entry level dead end job. I don’t consider that a respectable profession. No wonder you so seem bitter.

On the other hand you are going to college to prepare yourself for a position in the IT field, yet you claim that you may not pursue a position in that field once you graduate. That sure seems stupid to me. What are your plans after that? Do you intend to waste more time educating yourself for a position you aren’t interested in pursuing?

My advice to you would be to stop putting down on others for their chosen career paths because you are unsuccessful in yours. Instead, try to move ahead on your own merits and throw the bitterness in the trash we’re it belongs.

You must live the sorriest of lives. All you do on this forum is put down others. I bet you have a very, very small ****? That can be the only explanation for your behavior here. Obviously this is attempt at supremacy is you chosen vehicle to overcome your insecurities for being so grossly under endowed?

Do you have anything meaningful to contribute to the conversations here? Or will you always be the guy who is so hollow that he feels he must continuously announce his presence lest he be forever doomed to the background?

Well first off, I don't remember putting down anyone's career path. I was just pointing out the facts that Fauci has been a career politician and I find it funny that people think he's a real doctor because he has a Dr. as his title. Dr. OZ, Dr. Phil have a Dr. as their title but I wouldn't take anything from those guys seriously just like I can't take Fauci seriously.

Secondly, you know little about me nor my past professional history nor what I might want to do with this second degree in IT. While everything was in lock down from COVID, I could have sat idle and collect unemployment - it would have been the better choice if we just go by dollar signs but that's no me. I made a conscience decision to go back to school while everything else was locked down. I grabbed a part time gig at Walmart and took them up on all the benefits that I could - biggest one for me is letting them pay for my schooling.

I have no regrets (so far) in my decision. I'll milk them for every dime they are willing to give me.

You made the assumption that I will not pursue a position in IT once I get that diploma. You made the assumption that I've been unsuccessful in my past professional career. Both are false.

If you're interested in my past accomplishments throughout my professional life to date, you can look up my resume on Linkedin and/or Indeed and/or Google by searching for Craig Christopherson (although the resumes are probably a couple years old).

It's all public information. You could do a Google search with my name on patents & publications and all that stuff. Again, it's all public information. I have nothing to prove to anyone. Do these accomplishment make me a better person than the high school kid pushing carts at Walmart? Nope.

LOL, you got me. I'm a deceased banker living in Oregon. I didn't realize there we so many people that share my name.

I like this one: Asbestos Supervisor
https://www.linkedin.com/in/craig-christopherson-63662095?trk=people-guest_people_search-card

Not sure I'd like to work with asbestos for any length of time but someone has to do it. Better him than me.

Or this one: Lounge Manager at Kalispell Eagles Club
https://www.linkedin.com/in/craig-christopherson-b74b7a62?trk=people-guest_people_search-card

Lounge manager at an Eagles Club, that'd probably be pretty fun for a little while.

Then there's this one
https://www.linkedin.com/in/craig-christopherson-23430471?trk=people-guest_people_search-card

We do share something in common beyond our names. Maybe I should contact him/her and discuss the ins and outs of Walmart Asset Protection.

As far as my comments regarding your pursuing an IT degree and not using it, you’ve stated that many times yourself.

Define real doctor for me please, because I must be mistaken. I thought that was a title granted one, once they met generally accepted and certain specified criteria.

Regardless of whether you and I agree with Dr. Fauci or not is of no concern to me. I’m mature enough to realize that not everyone will agree on everything.

As far as your patents and publications are concerned, I could care less. That and a buck fiddy will get you a cup of coffee at McDonald’s.

On the other hand, I applaud you for availing yourself to what ever benefits your employer offers. More people should do the same.

As far as your past success in life, other than you who cares?

What do you consider an "Actual Doctor"? Someone that actively sees patients? someone that does hospital rounds? Because he literally does all of that still... Daily while also running a lab that made significant contributions to the understanding of how AIDS destroys the immune system, being the first to find what was essentially a cure for a rare immunological disease, called Wegener’s Granulocytosis, being top 50 most cited research scientist in history, top 10 on the list of most cited scientists in the field of immunology and being director of NIAID... But sure... not an "actual doctor"
