Just watched a family of six javelins eat the slightly moldy remains of my carved pumpkin that was on the front steps. They left some behind, so I need to clean that up tomorrow, but I understand them being a little full since I watched them tip over a neighbors recycling bin and eat two full pool noodles before getting around to disposing of my Jack o lantern.

Finally some time to relax. Worked a bunch of overtime for the last two weeks, think it was like 70 hours. Got some things to do around the house while trying to spend time with the kids. At least I only got 2 more days of overtime this week then I should be good for a while where I won't have to work any.

Good Sunday Morning! Up late today, I had to get up at 0130 to turn off an alarm on our left station. Most likely the float switches are caught on something, worse case, a bad pump, either way, I am stalling because it's cold outside and I am tired of working on the damm thing. So I'm enjoying a little more coffee.

Liquid Sunday.
A drizzle of Irish liquor in the coffee.
A Screwdriver.
When Arsenal scored their goal, the bar bought shots of cherry vodka.
A slightly buzzed dogwalk complete.
Back on the couch. Might head to the club today with my Chiefs gear, to be the lightning rod for Packer fan derision.
Or…. I’ll just fall asleep here.

Just had "The Lunch" to listen to what she wants, hope it isn't too painful and feign support even if I want run away.

Her feeling is she can get everything she wants as long as she............... goes with refacing- not buying new cupboards. Yes!

Mr. Contractor Dude say cabinets would be the biggest part of the nut. The decision to reface over new should save us about $10,000.

Pretty much. But the dish per minute ratio gets skewed sometimes when the Stacking Function tries to logically put the dishes in an order that allows for maximum drying time. RollEyes

Cabinets and floor are in, still no stove, sink, or dishwasher yet. Countertops are coming in a week from tomorrow. They ran into a few issues but it's going good again. Hopefully by Thanksgiving we will be back to normal at the house.

You don’t need no stinkin’ dishwasher! Not talking

Could’ve gotten the Gavin model or the cheaper (…but less consistent…) Greg-o-Matic unit. Flapper

Shot a raccoon this morning when I let the chickens out.

The dog got her paws on another when I closed up the coop tonight.

12 year old girl fvcked that thing up. By the time I went back inside to grab my gun she had punctured its chest and ripped open the neck. Bleeding out and struggling to breathe. I put one through the head and Milly lost interest, went back to the house.

I gave the raccoons a break so they could help clean up the acorns and walnuts, but it's on again. Found a corner of the chicken coop they been clawing/chewing on to get in. Screwed some plywood over it and started setting the hand traps again.

I live in one of the few counties in the country where you have to show vaccine proof for movies, restaurants, gyms etc. our hospitals are empty but we convinced everyone they’re going to die.

Actually, javelinas smell better than anyone here.
They have tremendously acute olfactory senses.

Better question:
Why does 8’s breath smell like the neighbors dog’s bunghole???

I made myself some bacon and eggs. Mmmmm... bacon.

Had a few beers on the fishing boat yesterday and got buzzed up pretty good. Still right enough to kill plenty of fish. Hooked and landed 3 myself, hooked a couple more and handed off to buddies.

4 of us went home with 3 nice yellowtail each. 8-12 pounders, so nothing extravagant, but fun.

Bought one more 25ft string of Christmas lights. I only hang the lights along the front of the house but somewhere along the way a 10ft string went missing or died and was replaced by a 25 so it wraps 15ft around one side of the house and stops. Looks like an even more half-assed job than it already is so I'm gonna put another string on to bring it around the back so you can't see the end when driving past.

Good Monday Morning! It's a bit warmer today, 64° on the way to 73° and clear.

I'm going to grill some beef sausage today. Right now I'm on hold for the SJE technical support line for my lift station control box. fog

Spare ribs in the crock pot. I've achieved my goal for the day. Might do some school work, odds are 50/50 on that topic.

Ribs sounds like a good idea, but I'm not paying what the store wants for em. Got a bunch of back ribs for $3/lb earlier this year. This week they're "on sale" for $7/lb.

Dug through the freezer for something to grill. Settled on ground beef, make some burgz.

Seen a few YouTube videos recently of smoked and seared bologna rolls. I wanna try it. Grocer won't sell a whole log. Butcher shop wants $8/lb for one. Not interested in a $50 log of bologna.

Dog walked.
Car gassed up & washed.
New propane take for the grill or patio heater.
Gave a pint at a blood drive @ Lambeau Field.

Sweat and Tears from their taxation. Figured they may as well take my Blood too.

Didn’t wear my Chiefs sweatshirt. Didn’t want them missing the vein multiple times.

I have never given blood voluntarily. My sister does routinely, she was probably there at the Lambeau blood drive. I hate needles but I should probably get over the phobia and donate.

Talking with a coworker last week that also routinely donates gave me some insight into it - she works for the Red Cross and does a Wally World part time for the seasonal help. She learned me something and encouraged me to donate. For for every pint you give, it can help up to 4 people. It's processed to separate it into it's components: red blood cells, platelets, plasma and something else (forget the word) but the clotting agents for hemophiliacs.

I don't even know what blood type I have pumping through my veins but I really should start donating.

Two NINE! NINE!
