Holy chit! Got behind this guy driving home from work. In a 10 mike stretch he went off the right side of the road 6 times, off the left side 3 times, drove in the left hand lane several times, and down the middle countless times

I don't always call the cops on azzholes, but when I do, it's f@#$ing warranted.

911 call highlight:
No, I can't read the plate from here
Can you get any closer?

Holy chit! Gonz

In the rare times that it's happened to me, I normally slow down and watch from afar. A couple times I did think about calling 911 but like you, didn't want to get close enough to read the license plate.

69, the goose drank wine and I'm doing fine. Just move-in alot slower all the time.

Change in the weather is getting rougher to handle though.

Trucks been honking and flashing its lights in the driveway for a few hours.

Went out and disconnected the battery.

Took the toolbox out the bed.

Gonna pull the subs and amp in the morning.

I'm done. I dont care how upside down I am on it, it needs to go away.

I have never given blood voluntarily. My sister does routinely, she was probably there at the Lambeau blood drive. I hate needles but I should probably get over the phobia and donate.

Talking with a coworker last week that also routinely donates gave me some insight into it - she works for the Red Cross and does a Wally World part time for the seasonal help. She learned me something and encouraged me to donate. For for every pint you give, it can help up to 4 people. It's processed to separate it into it's components: red blood cells, platelets, plasma and something else (forget the word) but the clotting agents for hemophiliacs.

I don't even know what blood type I have pumping through my veins but I really should start donating.

Two NINE! NINE!

We are Brothers in hating needles. I look away when they stick me. When my wife gave birth to my son, she had complications and needed surgery. It didn’t go particularly well. It was supposed to be a 45 minute procedure. She started bleeding and wouldn’t stop. 2-3 hours in surgery in total.

She took three pints. To make up for that, decided I’d donate three gallons. To that point, I only gave once and hated it.

Think I’m over the three gallons now. Am O+ which is always in demand. It also helps lower your BP.

This me too

Yeah... when my daughter was born, it was a lengthy process and doctors contemplated doing a C section. They were prepping for it and asked if I wanted to go with them... Emphatically NO! They said I could stand on the other side of the sheet and not see anything. Yeah... still not gonna happen.

In the end we (she) didn't need a C section but apparently I was pale as a ghost during the ordeal. After it was all done and everything worked out, the nurse told me that they reserved an adjoining room because they thought they would have a second patient that needed to be attended to.

During all this, the Mother-in-law was supposed to pick up the grandfather but he didn't want wait for a ride so (apparently) he called for a cab to the hospital. Nobody knew where he was for half the day until we learned that he was in the ER having a minor stroke.

So... baby on the way... mom might need a C section... dad is close to passing out... and grandfather lost only to be found in the ER with a minor stroke. The whole thing is a blur.

I have been a blood donor about once a year for many years. A friend at work got me started. The guy had given so many gallons of blood over the years that they gave him some kind of award. (Not counting April 15th)

Doubt they want it right now after the West Nile though.

Another day in paradise. 58/82 and out for a walk and then the gym.

Glad to hear danm is getting one divorce but think he needs another. Good luck.

48 now, 72 later.

Sunday went fishing... no dog walk. Monday was hung over... short dog walk. Yesterday Tank was looking at me like, "WTF is wrong with you?"

Might have to extend the walk today, maybe let him run around like a crazy man for a bit.

Drove around for 2 hours stopping at every car dealership in the area. Nobody has any new inventory. Literally zero new cars on the lots. When I looked online they had a good amount listed, but I wasn't paying attention they said "on order" or "incoming".

Guess I just dump it on carvana

I would also take a look at inventory in nearby large cities. Even if you have to eat a flight to another large population center, you may end up getting a better car/deal/selection.

A buddy of mine in AZ found a car he wanted in FL a few years back, worked out all the details/price/etc with the dealership via email in advance and then he flew out to FL and drove the car home.

Wife tells me Just stop in at Target CVS and get your flu shot.

Stop at Target/CVS.

Can I help you?
Yes, I’d like to get a flu shot?
Do you have an appointment?
No, was told to come down and get a shot.
You have to make an appointment. You can go to CVS.com or download the app.
Can we just schedule one now?
No, you need to go online or download the app.
Thank you, you’ve been very helpful.

Now I’m going out back to work off the frustration, get sweetly and smelly, and go in for my 1:00 pm shot.

I'd do that if I was actually looking for something. But I just want to get rid of my truck.

Dealership in my hometown buys trucks outright, I'm gonna hit them up. Was gonna head up there but wife reminded me the boy had a half day and she was gonna be gone so I had to stay home. They offered $6500 for my old truck which was significantly more than anywhere else I tried, but then I got the Ram and the dealer matched their written offer.

I don't know what I want to replace the truck with. I'm leaning hard towards a beater with a heater, find me a $3k car and just run it. I don't need a truck until I get a new camper. I don't need anything nice/new because I'm going to replace it with a truck when I buy a new camper. Just need something to go back and forth to work.

Told the wife she could pick out something she wanted and I'd trade in the truck for that and I'd take over her car but she said she really likes her car and doesn't want anything else.

When it's time to get what I want, I'm ordering/ buying new exactly what I want. Three used trucks in and 2 of them absolute dogchit and huge money pits. Hopefully next time I dont take home someone else's nightmare. Again.

Going the layabout route today. Too much activity the last few days. Need a Nothing Day and am going to take one.

Dog needs to walk me, but not until it warms a bit. Currently 29 degrees.

Mornin.

Got new hotsauce coming, Dave's insanity, ghost pepper and reaper sauce coming (amazon thought I would like them... and they are probably right).

I thought the ghost pepper one was the scorpion one, so I'm a bit disappointed by that...

Then later we get to take momma to a dentist appt. Yay.

High of 81 predicted.

Never had a Dave's sauce I liked. Pretty sure they're all extract sauces.

Just opened another bottle of this. Third bottle I've had, it's good - just straight up reapers

https://puckerbuttpeppercompany.com/collections/sauces-1/products/reaper-squeezins

And this one too. Put it in some ground beef and made spicy burgers. First time I've tried it. I'd buy again. Wife said it was too much, about 1 tbsp in 1.5lbs of meat for 4 burgers. I thought it was just right.

https://puckerbuttpeppercompany.com/collections/sauces-1/products/thunder-juice

And I just finished off a bottle of this a few days ago in some pizza sauce to top flatbread pizzas.

https://puckerbuttpeppercompany.com/collections/sauces-1/products/chocolate-plague

They all are excellent, and plenty hot. I keep buying sauces when I'm at the store even though I still have at least 50 unopened bottles in the basement.

Got the dog walked, and blew the last of the leaves into the pile just ahead of the city leaf clean up crew.
Listened to J. Rogan interview with Jewel. Nearly unbelievable what true adversity show made it through and her mindset and how she processes things and stays grounded.

One of the best interviews I’ve heard-at least the first half. Second half tomorrow.
