Semi-rough night after my Moderna 3rd shot. Got up at 2:30 to take a whizz and then never truly settled back in REM. When I got out of bed at 7, noticed more arm soreness as well as some hip tightness than the night before. Oldest granddaughter's last soccer game this morning at 8. A nap is definitely on the list of Things To Do.

Clean up almost done on the '65 Vette. Next week is the National Goodguys car show and motocross events and both brothers will be going with me. We didn't get to go to the last one due to an oil leak that I found at the last minute.

Football and a cigar on the patio in 86 in the shade. Monthly dinner out with the brothers and wives at a local BBQ place later tonight.

That low? Maybe because the National Guard rolled out?

Currently 49 degrees... headed to 91. Ninety frickin' one... in November.

They might not come to a verdict. They may crucify him to placate the libs. If either, little to no 🔥.
The media inadvertently announced potential racism as the jury is 11 whites and 1 blacks person.

They said their should be more Blacky people on the jury.

Hmm,why is that?
Shooter and shootees were all white.
Are they suggesting a more black jury is more likely to convict?

If so, they are calling black jurists racists, aren’t they?

Not a fan of Gov Evers in general. But nice to see him applying common sense (alerting the National Guard).
He’s also is allowing for a special, one location exemption in the state (3 miles away) for sports gambling starting later in the month. Good for the economy.

Wouldn’t matter if I did.
Given the wind direction last night,
Any wildfire would spread to northeast of Phoenix,
And I don’t know anyone in that area.

Besides, I’m immune from prosecution.
I joined BLM… ✊🏿

Got another dumpster coming tomorrow... so today is chill mode. More stuff from the garage, and a couple closets in the house need to be cleaned out of sheit that hasn't been looked at or thought about in years.

Doing the spring cleaning in the fall. That's some serious lazy right there...

On my third leg of a Dave's hot sauce sampler.

They all say one drop at a time, my dumb azz douses sh*t in it.

Anyway, not sure if I'm the biggest fan of the extract. Has a weird flavor to it. The reaper sauce is pretty good, the insanity sauce was pretty brutal. Now I know better for next time, don't dump as much on there. I could feel it working it's way through my insides. Luckily it got conquered before it hit my azz... maybe the reaper sauce will make it and my wife will get her wish of my dying in agony on the toilet...

Been rainy these past few days but was able to get out today (cold but sunny). Took a bike ride with the kid and I didn't do much work (with the E-bike), I was on cruise control at a steady 19.6 MPH on flat land, maybe 18 MPH on some of the hilly parts of town.

His peddlecycle, under human power, couldn't keep up.

I downloaded the user manual for the speed monitor thingy, looks like I can adjust the settings to remove the 20 MPH governor. Based on the battery and electric motor rating I should be able get a steady 30 MPH out of the thing at the expense of range. Of course, if you peddle rather than full electric, you can increase the range.

Also went through a few boxes of pictures with the kids (like MACS, doing some closet clean outs).

Ran into a bunch of college pictures and stuff that would be incriminating and prevent me from running for any political office. On top of that, 12 rolls of 35mm film that are not yet developed. I'm sure they are circa 1990's. I want to get them developed to see what's on them... or maybe not...

Not sure if the film will actually be able to be developed after 30+ years. I looked online and looks like they want like $10 per roll.

Do I want to spend $120 on questionable film that may or may not produce something that I may or may not want to see?

Most likely I'll go for it... Curiosity killed the cat.

What is the difference between Extract Sauce and Standard Sauce?

Standard sauce is made with the actual peppers whereas extract is when the capsaicin oil is extracted from the pepper. Basically super high octane chit. Also has a tendency to taste like chit.

Thank you.

Is it easy to see on labels or is it hit and miss? Enjoying hot sauce more over the last few years. Have no desire to play with the extracts.

Speaking of sauce, gonna do a meat lovers spag sauce in the crock pot tomorrow.

Onion
Garlic
Ground beef
Tomato sauce, paste, diced toms
Typical Italian spices
Hot sausage links cut into bite size hunks

Let it slow cook while doing layabout, maybe some school work and a definite nap or two

While doing inventory of ingredients... looking in the pantry... once again, I find myself short on tomato sauce (WTF? this should be always on hand)... Gonna have to do a morning run to the store. Since I'm there, pick up a loaf of garlic bread too.

Not sure if I am motivated or I was just sick and tired of a cluttered garage full of crap I don't need or want. Looks a lot better.

I think she'll eventually give in. She'll get tired of hearing me complain about this sh*thole state.

Bucky... you can get good Italian bread there.

Melt some salted butter and simmer it on really low heat with smashed up garlic cloves... paint that on the Italian bread and toast it in the oven.

I'm tired of my sh*thole state. Only thing keeping me here is my kids. After they get through high school I'll re-evaluate. If they fly the nest and go off to college in a different state, I'm on the first flight back to WI.

If they decide to go to college here or if they don't decide to go to college... I'll say here until they are on their own two feet... then I'm on the next flight back to WI.

Was watching the Packer's game. They had some small flurries of snowflakes. In two days that crap will be passing overhead here.

I'm not a fan of snow or winter. It's odd since I lived my whole life in WI and MA. Still doesn't mean I like it. Give me, like, one week of snow for the novelty and a snowball fight with the kids and then I'm all set... then fast forward to April spring weather.

We are happy (for the most part) to have winter.
The scare of the cold reduces the # slackers from California bringing their “values “ here. That and the Portlanders.

Morning all, We just returned from skiing at Diamond Peak for 3 days. The seniors enjoyed the resort amenities and the rest of us both the skiing and the resort. It's about 40 here.

Portlanders are just Californians with more facial hair.

If this global warming thing catches on your state come under Californian invasion.
