fog fog fog Sick

Several of my favorite restaurants that I used to love to go to...
Have really gone DOWN HILL Faaaaaaasssst!!!

When I go out, in the past...I'd buy what the restaurant specialized in...
Find an excellent dish and STICK WITH THAT choice Everytime...

Well, thanks to the IDJIT CHIRee WUHAN BIOLOGICAL WARFARE DOUCHEBAGS, the pandemic and high food prices...

I'm forced to pay almost 25-50% more for the same choices/dishes...and now they are smaller, less quality and cooked by a moron...not by a chef' per say or even by someone who cares about what he's cooking at all...

The schlop I get when I go out to eat really really sucks in comparison to the food presentation , quality and correct preparation as in 2019 and before ...

I can cook way better than the the so called chefs currently at many fancy upscale eateries...

I know Of only one restaurant that has gotten better in all of central PA...
That is in Middleburg , Pa ...
"North Main" , 132 north main,
It has a professional chef who cares about the quality of his dishes...

Nobody in Lancaster ,Pa cares anymore..
These four used to be great, no issues in 2019
Belvedere inn , still very good but prices up 45% and I ain't bill gates
Iron Hill brewery , weak food high prices
Old hickory grille, weak menu bad food
Fiorteenos ,decent Italian but that is all that is good
And their beer cost is way to high and is flat...

No more happy hours at 50% of the bars who used to have them all the time...
Domestic beers : Miller lite, yuengling lager, bud light ,Coors light etc 16 oz $3.75!!!
What the ****!!! That bill gates pricing..

I go to my American legion post in the mountains and pound Michelob ultra 11 oz frosty mugs for $1.25 or a local Lancaster bar who has a real happy hour 4-6 pm U.S. domestics 16 oz $2.00 & big homemade $2.00 cheese pizza slices , that's a fair price....

I CAN'T TAKE MUCH MORE OF THIS Post pandemic bullshe-ite BAD FOOD AND EXPENSIVE BEER CRAP!!!

Mr. WIZARD ...TAKE ME BACK TO 2019 !!!

Last time I was in Lancaster I think I stayed in a Doubletree on the south side. Met some nice FBI folks at the bar.

We killed a lot of restaurants out here. Some survived and are still good. Others….not so much.

Going to a restaurant and having them prepare food according to your own preferences is the definition of white privilege. Menu items are now prepared to appeal to a more diverse ethnic population. It’s now been mandated and you must embrace it…

Z nailed it.

Hit the smorgasbord all you can eat and more selection than you could sample in a month of visits $25.49

Parking lot BBQ guy outside the Amish market $10.

Finding Amish moonshine, priceless

Although I doubt they'd sell to you,
Look to much like a gangstalked ex spook

IZON hit it on the head...

Nobody behind the swinging kitchen doors gives a **** anymore...

They ( the cooks) are just waiting to get off work and feed you slop...

I'd be ashamed of serving people the crap I'm getting served...it is just bad...really bad... and either burnt or cold and tasteless...

It's not you. My favorite BBQ place has gone to s#it.

And it's not just restaurants. Nobody gives two s#its about anything anymore. Quality, customer service, courteous driving, timeliness, doing a good job...

My company almost got blacklisted by a customer because the site manager caught two of our guys throwing all their maintenance materials in a dumpster in town. These two jackasses would shut the machine down, drive into town, throw all their filters/lubricants/etc. in the trash, go back to the tower and sit in the truck all day, and pencil whip their paperwork.

Dude...I gave my favorite BBQ place 3 chances. First time, I figured it was a fluke. Second time, I was like, "Well that sucks. I really hope they haven't gone to s#it." Third time was amazingly WORSE than the first two bad experiences. Lower quality, higher prices, smaller portions. Later, suckas.

EDIT: I travel extensively for work, I try BBQ in every state, and this was literally the best BBQ I've ever had.

I am thinking that the restaurant business is going to take a real hit...I mean a really big hit...

People will stop going out if the food is sub-par especially at their favorite restaurants...

I have curtailed my eating out at restaurants by over 50%
When compared to my 2019 expenditures...

I pity the restaurant owners...higher food prices, higher energy bills, higher rent with longer yearly leases, employees who suck at their jobs or who don't want to work, plus they have to pay big wages now...even clerks at WAWA or mcDonalds make $14.00 and hour now!!! That's D.O.U.B.L.E. THE MINIMUM WAGE OF $7.65 AN HR!!!

IF NOTHING ELSE...THE PANDEMIC HAS RAISED THE HOURLY WAGE LIGHT YEARS ABOVE WHAT CONGRESS COULD HAVE EVER ACHIEVED ON ITS OWN...

agreed...after dine in at restaurants started back up, I've been out to several old faves in town (those that are still in business--several have disappeared) and in the city where I used to work...every single one was not as good and more expensive...

maybe we've got the COVID, Mr. Jones, and it has affected our senses of taste and smell...

Restaurants are taking whomever they can get. Note Jonsey's wage reference and the number of places advertising signing bonuses. Quality's bound to take a hit

I agree...

Nobody wants to work in the service industries except single mothers who are uneducated and in dire straights...

I pity them...I put my time in at minimum wage..many MANY thousands of hours in my life time...I had to...it was not fun..but I did it...I know the pain of poverty...

And for all my pain & suffering and the saving of all of central PA from a dirty bomb explosion ON 9-9-2012...I am back in poverty and a SUPER low income bracket...

THAT "See something...say something" BROADCASTED COUNTRY WIDE mantra of Janet Napolitano...WAS the biggest lie ever told... TO THE U.S. PUBLIC...

F*CK that lying KENT...I HOPE SHE ROTS IN PAIN FROM STAGE FOUR CANCER FOR MANY MANY YEARS...THAT LYING BEOTCH..

I didn't notice any slip in quality. The few places I would actually go to are still excellent. Guess all y'all pick crappy restaurants.

except MACS. He could (should) open a BBQ food truck.
