I’m somewhat new to the cigar world. Only been in it for about 3 months now. I do have a pretty decent selection mainly because I did some plumbing at the shop I go to. But I’m trying to broaden my spectrum and see how the trading works. I have anywhere from Opus, God of Fire etc. can somebody help me out.

Check out the noob pib thread. Hook one of those fellas up. Then you can ask someone to send you some smokes. I’ll bump it to the top for you

another option to get into trades and get your rep up a bit is to put out an offer of things you might be looking for ( the more generic the better) and what you have to trade. start small, 5-10 sticks and get a few trades under your belt. the more smaller trades you get the more people will be willing to trade with you. big thing in trades here is that you shouldn't always expect to get retail value out of sticks. you may end up getting offers for things you deem "cheaper" then what you are offering to trade and may also get some genours traders will give give "better" offers. if you post up some stuff you are interested in then i am happy to jump in and see what i have to get a trade under your belt.

Most trades are someone looking for something specific and offering up what they have to offer. just take a look through the posts in trades and you will see many examples. blind trades like the noob/PIB are also great ways to try new sticks you may not have even thought about. i have received some pretty cool stuff that way. they aren't always bangers but people around here are pretty cool and generous. Get in some trades under your belt and next year join the secret Santa thread, that's another great chance to have some fun and try some new/unique sticks.
