Try not to laugh. Pundits and historians will have a rip-roaring time taking apart this telepromptered oration full of hyperbole, fantasy and imagery. I wonder who wrote it?

President Joe Biden on Thursday addressed the nation on the anniversary of the Jan. 6 insurrection.
Biden did not mention former President Donald Trump directly by name, instead calling him a "defeated, former president."

Madam Vice President and fellow Americans, to state the obvious, one year ago today, in this sacred place, democracy was attacked. Simply attacked. The will of the people was under assault. The constitution -- our constitution -- faced the greatest of threats. Outnumbered in the face of a brutal attack, the Capitol Police, the D.C. Above him, above us, over that door leading into the rotunda is a sculpture depicting Clio, the muse of history.

In her hands, an open book, in which she records the events taking place in this chamber below. Clio stood watch over this hall one year ago today, as she has for more than 200 years. She recorded what took place -- the real history, the real facts, the real truth, the facts and the truth that Vice President Harris just shared, and that you and I and the whole world saw with our own eyes.

So, where's the insurrection?
Maybe they're referring to the massive voter fraud that took place prior to Jan. 6th

Who is Ray Epps?

69 out of 70 cases filed on behalf of Trump alleging massive voter fraud were kicked before they even got started.

If they allowed actual investigation into the fraud AND what happened on Jan 6 we'd be in a better place.

Well to be fair Google is doing it’s part to hide #16 info…..

Don’t fear, the DOJ really cares about the country and their oaths. They would never do anything in a political or subversive manner that would reflect negatively upon them. And the press will make sure that they uphold their societal responsibilities in being the watchdog in case such nefarious actions were to take place by republicans.

Exactly who prevented them?

The recounts/investigations, some even by Trump, sure didn't go well at all and do not prove your assertion. You can scream the courts were unfair all you want, but that's the way they work for everyone who makes unsubstantiated claims of fraud.

When the R's win next year, they can investigate it. If they come up with proof of widespread voter fraud significant enough to change the election result, I'll eat crow. But, I feel very confident that if they had it, they already would have exposed it and every American would join in and repudiate it.

Evidently, VP Kamaltoe found the root causes of the January 6th riot.
She found a direct link to the terrorist attacks on 9/11 and the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

The fact is substantiation of fraud wasn't allowed

We all saw laws being broken before during & after the vote

Federal agents provoked a mob alongside other known & videotaped antagonists in a well timed coordinated provocation by capital police through a series of withdrawals which led to an inevitable conflagration that would play well if certain video is kept under wraps
