horse

All the UHAUL trucks that used to be in California s inventory have been driven to Texas ON ONE WAY RENTALS... THE SAME THING HAS HAPPENED IN ILLINOIS...BUT THEY HAVE ALL ENDED UP ON ONE WAY RENTALS TO FLORIDA...

NOW all the TEXANS AND FLORIDA-ITES ARE PISSED WITH rising real estate prices, higher crime rates and the new arrivals all vote Democrats into their local and state political positions...

What say you CBID TEXANS AND FLORIDA-ITES?

The one party supermajority dictatorship is definitely a factor in our exit strategy. Actually it the largest factor once the wife retires.

U-Haul has been having this problem for about 1.5 years. For fun go on their website and get a price quote for a 28’ truck from San Francisco to Austin. Then run a quote from Austin to San Francisco. Leaving Cali costs 5X last I checked. Basically you are paying for someone to drive it back empty.

Won't need a Uhaul. I'll order one small POD and put the stuff my wife absolutely has to have in it...

The rest of my sh*t gets donated. I'll just buy new sh*t when I get to where I am going.

We do plan to liquidate heavily to reduce the load and Atlas Van Lines can do the rest! Le HockeyDad don’t move himself. Normally my employers pay for my move but this one will be on my dime.

Planning exploratory trips to San Antonio, Austin, and hill country in general. Phoenix metro is on the list. Nevada is a maybe.

We don’t want cold, don’t want humidity, don’t want too many Californian locusts either!

I'm not sure you would like Austin, it is quite liberal.

Austin is definitely California occupied territory (I think Austin can even vote in California elections like Boulder Colorado)

I would say Oregon but you’re a Californian now so that’s a no go for me….we’ll maybe one more.

A gal I know is a trucking broker, she was trying to get a D9 Cat moved from Northern California to southern Oregon (less that 300 miles) and the lowest bid she got was $9k and this was a favor for a friend. Finally found someone to do it for $3k which is still crazy town.

Should have called Cooper. He'd have moved that dozer for $2k and a case of Mickey's big mouths.
