$50 billion? Why is that a problem in and of itself? The fact that they make lots of money implies nothing wrong. We are capitalists.

They "live for" the vaccines and drugs they get to make. The money just provides the incentive and resources to have the capacity to gear-up "quickly". Of course it is expensive.

You haven't sold your drug manufacturer and research stocks have you?
