If you are a minority and have the same qualifications you get the job, not the white guy. Let's talk welfare reform, it keeps people in bondage no matter what their skin color. I am not talking about doing away with it, on the contrary, probably spending more. Good hospitals, good schools, good trade schools, improving neighborhoods. A definition of insanity is to keep doing something that doesn't work. I would love to take the money spent on welfare and Elon Musk reimagine how to best use it to get the most value out of a dollar. Truely I think the system holds people back.
Hard work and making your own luck are key ingredients. Skin color is not in the equation??? What world do you live in?
If you never saw racism or sexism in the work place it’s because you never worked or did not look. Cause it’s there Bro. Big as life and twice as ugly.
Yes people fall into taking a “free” life in poverty. Yes people defrauded the system - some are really, really good at it. Maybe they even go into office….
While you look at reforming welfare, consider if we could defeat the waste of wealth concentration.
