Start of a new one.

Simplicity should be the goal of any design.

Let's roll.

Yeah... prolly my foot odor. My Wolverine (my preferred steel toes boots) don't have much ventilation.

Ewww boot stank.

Took my lawn's temperature today. 58 Degrees. Just starting to come out of winter dormancy. Way too early but I am looking forward to the lawn being full and green again.

Lazy supper tonight, not much thought put into it. Gonna do grilled chicken thighs (grilled on the stove not outside grill) marinated in simple Italian dressing like marinade. I wanted to to Teriyaki but was out voted for the garlic and herb marinade.

Don't matter. Keep it simple.

Jasmine rice and green beans as sides.

I hate flop flops. I trip over them and HATE the thing that jams between the big toe and the rest of the foot... Flip fops are a non starter for me.

For sandals I need something like the Birkenstock design or a Teva design with a back strap. Surf shoes work too.

Exact opposite. I hate shoes. View them as a necessary evil and wear them only when I have to. Tried wearing Birks for awhile but after my second pair, decided they were too expen$ive for a college student working 20-ish hours a week. Plus, by then slipper (aka “flip-flops”) technology and style had grown leaps and bounds so went back to wearing them for school and work. Additionally, the local custom is to take off one’s footwear when entering someone’s house so obviously much easier to remove slippers than shoes.

If you are living on a lake, you should be wearing water wings.

Izon, the prodigal son. Shows up, sews confusion and then disappears for a week or two.
He is what he is. Nice to see he's alive.

Good Sunday Morning! It's turned cool and rainy again, 52° on the way to 56° today.

FWIW, Flip Flops are the only footwear I ever want to wear. Unless the temperature is below 60° or I have to run a chain saw, I wear flip flops. I have some inside and outside pairs, mostly Crock brand and Combat Flip Flops.

Good call. The other 500 is totally illegitimate. Some Tomfoolery is afoot... or at hand... some body part.

Seriously though, this 500 was started 3:57pm yesterday when the old 500 appeared to have petered out at post 499. Didn't reach 500 until the Izon sighting at 4:26am this morning. So, what gives?

I used to wear my REEF to my office almost every time I wore shorts (10+ months per year). . much more comfortable. But, wife is stuck on hocking me to get pedicures when i wear them. i might give it another try. d'oh!

The 500 post was my first.

There is definitely something fishy going on.
And it’s emanating from Bucky’s bunghole…

Shenanigans sounds kind of Irish. It should be used in a Limerick.

There once was a guy from Nantucket
His real name is Frank but we use F-it
His D!ck is so big
He doesn't wear a wig
So we just call him tripod

(the last stanza could use some work)
