Beforehand I remember thinking well at least I made it to 52 but frank it, I will not be celebrating St Patrick's day. I was clinically dead on the table 2 minutes and 27 seconds. Durring my December 2021 oblation I was clinically dead for 54 seconds. Before hand I thought frank it, I have an awful lot of living still to do, and it is priceless living. My life is so much more now. I have truly been blessed multiple time in multiple ways. May you all have a blessed and joyous life!!!
Congrats! 15 years for me next week, had my aortic replaced with a bovine composite.
I was 52 at the time.
Heart/lung machine for the duration of the surgery; its amazing knowing they stopped the heart and only allowing blood flow to get it going again.
