If it isn't Opportunity- it might be the 62 degree day! Woooooo-Whoooo!

Have you inquired about a part time gig at the local cigar club? That would be a sweet deal. Doesn't hurt to ask or plant the seed.

Am working on some things behind the scenes for them. They are a target rich environment for opportunities. Communications is the bright, flashing red and blue strobe light of opportunity. Little in process, mostly all siloed in their own area. Little in written processes. A lot of winging it and things get lost. They mean well.

They all want the same thing (a profit). One is a happy go lucky Grateful Deadhead. Another is a control monster- with the poorest scores of the group in both communication and follow through. The other dude is stuck in the middle.

Working there. The two downsides are too great. First being it is my getaway place to chill and laugh. If it becomes my office- less so. One of the owners, I can only stomach for the shortest period of time. Has a huge ego and is the worst communicator. Don't need that in my life.

The downside for me would be being in that smoke filled environment for long periods. As someone who almost never smokes indoors I can't imagine what shpo owners fill like by the end of a day. I was in a shpo for two hours today and their air handler was very good but I still left feeling a little wooozy.

Understood. Maybe not a stable opportunity and might be one to not get involved with. Or maybe an opportunity that you could turn around and be come rich. Maybe just something you can do part time and don't give a crap about as long you get some pocket change, free booze and smokes.

I rescued him, I walk him, I play fetch with him and I feed him. He knows who the alpha is. If she calls him and he's with me... he looks to me to see if it's okay to go to her... and she hates it.

For a broad who didn't want a dog, she's kinda jealous he likes me better.

I give that one out all the time.

The Lovely Caren asked once what I meant by it.
Told her it was like when she said she loooooved the red car we were looking at but didn't buy because it got six gallons to the mile...couldn't live with the downside of the deal.

But sometimes you can. Only you know.

Sunny and 55 right now. Sitting outside with a beer and cigar. Hopefully this is the tail end of winter. We'll probably get hit with another cold spell and snow but the deep freeze should be over. Not packing up the snowblower just yet.

St. Patrick was not born in Ireland, but in Britain.

Green was not always the color tied to St. Patrick’s Day. Traditionally blue, it later shifted to green because of Ireland's nickname “The Emerald Isle.”

Guinness is one of the most popular beers for the holiday.

St. Patrick’s Day used to be considered a ‘dry’ holiday. In Ireland, it was against the law to drink on the religious holiday between 1903 and 1970.

In the 1880s, St. Patrick’s Day was officially considered a U.S. holiday after thousands of Irish immigrants came to the country.

Two beautiful days, both ending up over 60 are now past. Back to cooler than normal and 1-4 inches of snow today.

Was great while it lasted. The.dog was loving it. I get the distinct feeling my dog thinks I control the weather.

Last couple of days she was like…. Yes, dumbass. This is the weather I like to walk in.

She’s not going to be talking to me today.

It's a beautiful day in da neighborhood. Was about 55 for the dog walk and now it's 70 headed for 78.

Pupper was walked, chased his ball for awhile, fed... and now napping in da sun in da back yard.

Got to put in a couple hours at the shpo. First time I’ve seen a vehicle which when airing up the tires, the horn goes off to indicate they are at the optimum pressure.

Wait, your shpo protects you AND fills your tires?

Damn.

Curious, how does it know you are filling them? I mean, does the horn blow every time they reach the perfect PSI (ifin it's cold, mine start lower than 32psi but warm up to 32 as I drive) or only when the valve caps are off?

TPMS must notice the sudden increase in PSI I am guessing.
