It's pretty obvious that the Anti-ROTT faction at the factories have risen to power and won't ship anything out with less than 3 years of aging.
Either that or there's a conspiracy here and a secret petition was circulated throughout the membership (...EXCEPT to those espousing ROTT smoking...), that was signed, sealed and delivered to Habanos S.A. The petition urged them to properly rest their cigars before letting them out into the wild, thereby skipping the infamous "sick period". Shaken and stirred by the petition, HSA then issued a "No Mas" edict to all of their factories to stop the needless release of the young cigars.
I mean, I don't really know if either of those things are the reason why you can't find any of your favorite marcas or vitolas buy hey, it could've happened....
