I'd also recommend the Montecristo Cigar Bar. It's in the same casino as Casa Fuente. Both were great to spend some time at.

Casa Fuente in Caesars Palace.............screw the rest of the LV lounges, they are a very distant second at best.

Next tip ........stay inside,my SIL and BIL talked us into a big LV family get together the last week of June 2012 .All get togethers since have been in October at my insistence. My BIL paid several hundred dollars for he and I to play 18 holes at Tuscany, tee time was 0915,we finished the 11th hole he looked over, soaking ass wet ,and ask me if wanted to finish................."**** no, lets go find an air conditioner and some alcohol".He didn't hesitate at all turning that cart straight towards the club house.

I'm going to go in the opposite direction of my friend Ron. Go outside. Get out of the city. The area surrounding Vegas is stunningly beautiful desert. People don't think of Vegas as an outdoor destination, but it's one of the best kept secrets about going there.

There are several national parks/reserves (e.g., Death Valley, Lake Mead) and great state parks (e.g., Valley of Fire) within 1 or 2 hours drive. Hell, Red Rock Canyon is only 30 minutes outside the city limits. Grab a cigar, a bottle, and a friend, and go sit somewhere interesting. I've been to Vegas probably 10 times, have spent less than $100 gambling.

Been there a couple of times, and each time I couldn’t wait to get there but then once there the prices were ridiculous and service below average. Being fleeced is one thing, but you shouldn’t settle for crappy service at the same time.
