What makes anyone think I'll give the addy to 8track?

HA!

Tomorrow's plan is TBD. Adora is basically hanging out with all her friends "at work" since we're staying in the place she worked. She wants to stay 1 more night. Meh... whatever.

so he can visit?

Guess I'll toss out the CA address then. Although I haven't used it or given it up, you were listed on my next of kin on the underside of the lids of my tuperdors if I were to die. I made clear and special instructions to remove the cigars and ship them off before cutting up my body and packing it into the totes. Caskets are expensive.

I'll have to mine for a new addy when you get settled. Loose lips sink ships. If I buy enough beers for 8track when I'm back in WI I think I'll be able to weasel some intel out of him

I’ve had that elusive tidbit of info for about 6 or 7 years. I can proudly say I never divulged it. Nor, will I say how I was able to confirm that I had the correct coordinates.

This thread has passed 500 and appropriately, Mac is about to hit the road.

So if it hits 1,000 he has to move again.

Since we're talking about Macs address, I tried to get it from many people but nobody would give it up.

I did not read the entire thread...

BUT ???

Your moving lock stock and barrel to Florida without purchasing a new H.U.T. YET?
OR
YOU HAVE A NEW HUT IN FLORIDA ALREADY?

IS YOUR STUFF IN "PODS" THAT CAN SIT AROUND TILL YOU FIND A NEW HOUSE?
OR YOU GOTTA UNLOAD IT INTO a storage unit...

Man, nothing like double and triple work...

I did that once when I was 35???
Not in my 50's like you are...

Was talking about before that when I sent the beer glasses. Speaking of the guest room. Did you guys take that mattress set? That mofo is comfy as hell.

Am guessing he'll close the driving day someplace south of Phoenix.

He may have texted me, but until the phone gets fixed, with have to rely on our intrepid reporter's first hand accounts here.

Just talked to him. He’s crossing into NM.

Kinda feels like Christmas Eve and we’re tracking Santa, Mrs Claus and Rudolph.

We can get his NEW ADDRESS by sending an "Address Correction Requested" envelope to his old address and then USPS will return the envelope with the new address he has on file (change of address form) printed on a yellow label.

They sent me tax bills for a boat I sold a year after I sold it... You're likely right, though they will be shredded immediately.

As soon as my next house purchase goes through, and I have a permanent addy in Florida, I will register my vehicle, get my license, change my address for my CalPers retirement account, and switch my state to Florida... so CA can no longer tax the money they're giving me for the rest of my life.

1) I am fairly certain you only have 10 days to do it all- to be legal once you get here. Let me know if you want me to research it.
2) Better switch your auto insurance to Florida auto insurance right away- like day one or two. Just call USAA. Buy stacked UM coverage no matter what they tell you- PERIOD!
3) Better register to vote ASAP because primaries are coming up soon. I think you can do it when you get your D/L.

Like Anth said, this is like the Santa Tracker. What was the highlight of the day- although we also take lowlights as well.

Fix your phone... you have a few short videos. Gonz

Highlight of the day was a stop in 112 degree heat to pee. Tank got out, ran to the shade, didn't pee... got right back in the truck.

He looked at me like, "WTF was that!?"

Waze app has me going straight 10... not even detouring to 12. We're in Junction TX tonight. Anth says I better detour to 12 or risk a shirtload of traffic.

Did 570 miles day 1, 600 today. About halfway done...so Friday afternoon arrival is likely, barring any glitches.

I like the 80mph speed limit in TX... apparently it's okay for the semi's to go that speed, too... because the fuckers do! Those tires ain't meant for that **** and is probably why I've passed a hundred of them in the gat dang road, all blown apart.

Truck was getting 19.5 mpg until the cruise got set to 80... now it's like 18. d'oh!

You seem to be making good time.

If I recall correctly that 80 mph speed limit ends somewhere around Kerrville, just west of San Antonio. I-10 east of San Antonio is still good road. When you get past Houston I-10 blows but Lowsyana I-10 will make you wanna pull over and blow your brains out.

Enjoy Junction..........cool little town with a couple awesome BBQ joints.
