SoCa peeps.
Warn your neighbors.

I'm in town early next week.
Sunday I fly in and might look for a smoke Sunday night. Rest of week, not so much.

Ideas welcome here.

Wait, wait... This Sunday? April 10th?

Al...? What we doing with this forkbucket?

I'll drive. Lemme know. Gotta pass by you to navigate ridiculous traffic just to meet this jackwagon.

*sigh*

I say we do it.

Just got an e-mail from Al. All is relatively good but he's been heavily distracted.

Used to be some good looking hookers hang around the truck stops at night in Ontario if you feel like making the short drive.

Ha! My son's and I met two of them. About forty years ago the restaurant at the Ontario Truck Center was about halfway between our house in Orange County and my Mother's house in Hesperia, CA. We would meet there to drop off one grandson at a time so Grandmother could give them one on one attention. We got there a little early and as we were walking into the resturant two women dressed in hot pants, hose, tank tops and fully made up stoped to say hello to our sons and remark how cute they were. As we headed on in I was wondering what that was all about...d'oh! Then it hit me.

You gotta take the 105 to the 110 to the 10 to get there. Depending on traffic you could take the 105 to the 710 to the 10. You definitely don’t want to take the 105 to the 405 to the 10.

The Californians.

I don’t think anybody even understood it outside of California.
There was a Steve Martin movie called “LA Story” that I felt the same way about.

Big fan of this skit here.
But won’t admit it to anybody outside of this circle…
