Hi folks,
I'm just letting everyone know TC Haughton, La. I DO NOT bid on nasty acid products. Is trying to get as many cigars as I can for under $1. Since after all I'm going to smoke them, a.k.a. burn them up. Some of you'll think you have to almost bid CI price. Call them for catalog , and see whats going to be a be push here on cigarbid. Ain't really no need to be bidding your max at 1st swing. Otherwise you look like a fool. When I when the same item for a quarter of what you paid. Set the lowest bid you can and then set your Max bid before placing bids. You'll end up getting it cheaper. I've won over 800 cigars this year. Average price a stick has been $1.10. Won 8 5-packs for $2.00 a pack. And many 20 packs for under $20. No need to waste money, when you increase your quantity.

OK, I'll bite. What exactly do you smoke for an average of $1.10/per?

Instead of 800 shïtty $1 cigars, buy two good boxes of cigars and smoke less.

I paid $3/ea for 50 Tat PCRs which I would smoke 99 out of 99 times over what you got sport. If you’re not enjoying greatness why are you even doing it? You remind me of guys who poke ugly girls that aren’t good in bed either…..I did that once, it’s ok.

I've won cohibas reddot and wanted my money back. I've smoked "the leaf" by oscar. Neither impressed me. Its a smoke. Now the H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon I buy at local shop is nice. Along with Schizo Maduro. LGC series R No 4 Esteili is good. Won some under $2. Of the LGC esteili coronas. Not big on following name brands. When they've been smoked and in ashes, I have more to smoke or more money to buy more. You're high dollar ashes proves the old saying. "A fool and his money is soon departed"

Some may scoff me and I don't really care but for inexpensive smokes found here I do like 5 Vegas Series 'A', Man-O-War, and similar. I like maduro and Nic tobacco.

I haven't had these for a long time but I liked them back when I started in this adventure: IT Super Fuerte Maduro, Rocky Patel Sungrown, RP Edge, RP Vintage. I'm sure the blend has drifted over the past dozen or so years so I can't comment on what it's like now but I did like them back then.

Also loved the now extinct Perdomo2

Cuban sammiches

I could go for a Cuban sammich right about now too.
Making Cuban sammiches is on my “to do” list this week.

Source: Columbia Restaurant - Ybor City

Some prefer a “smashed Cuban,” which is pressed heavily for a long time.

Important notes: No mayo. No lettuce or tomato. No turkey. Good bread is essential, and La Segunda Central Bakery in Ybor City has supplied the Columbia for much of its history.

Ingredients

9" piece of Cuban bread
4 ounces smoked ham, thinly sliced
1 ½ ounces pork loin, thinly sliced
1 ounce Genoa salami (peppercorn studded preferred), thinly sliced
1 ounce Swiss cheese, thinly sliced
2 pickle chips
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
Soft butter

Preparation

Cut Cuban bread in half lengthwise. Layer sliced meats and cheese in the following order: ham, pork, salami and then cheese. Place pickle chips evenly on top.
Spread mustard on top half of bread. Lightly butter both top and bottom of sandwich. Heat sandwich in press until crisp. Cut diagonally from corner to corner. Serves 1.

Glazed Ham:
1 each Fully cooked boneless pit ham (about 6 lbs.)
1/2 cup Granulated sugar
1/2 cup Light brown sugar

Score ham in a criss-cross fashion 1/2 inch deep and 1 inch apart. Place on a roasting pan. Mix together the granulated and brown sugars. Rub ½ cup of the sugar mixture all over ham. Roast in an oven for 20 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove pan from oven. Remove ham from pan and place on another (No need to change pans if fallen sugar is not burnt). Carefully rub ham with the rest of the sugar mixture. Roast in oven for 20 minutes or until sugar has caramelized. Cool before slicing

Roast Cuban Pork:
1each Fresh Pork shoulder (about 5 lbs.)
1 cup Sour Orange Juice (if not available, ½ cup lime juice and ½ cup orange juice)
8 each Large garlic cloves
2 tsp dried oregano leaves
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
4 each bay leaves

With a sharp knife, puncture pork in several places. Place in a shallow roasting pan. In a food processor, puree ¼ cup of sour orange juice, garlic cloves, oregano, black pepper and salt. Puree enough to form a paste. Rub paste all over pork, pushing mixture into punctured holes. Add bay leaves to the rest of the sour orange juice and pour over pork. Refrigerate and marinate for 3 to 6 hours. Roast at 350 degrees skin side up and uncovered until an internal temperature of 160 degrees ( allow 20 minutes per pound and baste occasionally). Cool before slicing.

Dammit, too fast for me. Exactly where my brain went.

Seriously though, smoking a Tat doesn't automatically transfer ink to your skin. Just like the 5 Vegas Gold doesn't transfer gold into your bank account, the Gurkha Park Avenue doesn't relocate you to Manhattan, and the 5 Vegas Judge doesn't make you..... hmmm, I think I see your concern now.

One ex decided to get a tattoo to honor her deceased brother, got a jap conji symbol for brother as a tramp stamp….

Not ideal reading material.

Another ex has a tattoo of a tiger on the side of her whisker biscuit. That was interesting.

Dated another girl who had a cool owl on one of her very ample teets. Probably the funniest break up line I ever heard from her…..not appropriate for this place though.

Daddy issues are great PM me pics of her cans pls. I’ll send you a kooban cigar.

“I gasped in surprise”....................perfect!

I actually bought a fiver of those 10+ years ago.
Pretty sure it was similar to smoking the business section of a 2 month old New York Times soaked in hobo piss.

Jeppers, I haven't posted anything in like 4 years, but here goes. If you really want to get a cheap cigar, you can go to the RJ Reynold's plant. They have a big one in Richmond, VA. For about 25 cents you can get tobacco leaves. Go out to your front yard, find the biggest dog turd out there and wrap it yourself in that tobacco leaf and pristo-chango, you have a 25 cent cigar! Save a ton of money bidding on cheap cigars.

I myself do not expect to win all my auctions. I put in a lot of low bids and consider myself lucky if I win 10 to 15% of them. About 5 years ago, I got real lucky. The rest of you guys must have gone on vacation or something because I ended up winning about 90% of my bids for the week. The FedEx guy had to use the handcart to bring the box to the porch. I didn't consider myself lucky then when I realized just how much I spent that week on cheap cigars!
