who’s half Mexican. Like me, he’s a foodie. He told me how well he liked Menudo so I figured I’d have try it some day.

Yesterday I was driving through Arizona and saw a Mexican restaurant with a large parking lot so I pulled in. They had it on the menu so I figured I didn’t have anything to lose. So instead of ordering a burrito or some other “mainstream” dish I ordered a bowl of Menudo.

The broth was excellent, but the kindest way I can describe the protein is that it had the consistency of congealed snot. So as us Cajuns like to say, “I made the sign of the cross on that 💩.”

I had an AWESOME chilli relanoeo (spelling?) tonight...

It was great!!!
The pepper, the mexican cheese & spinach stuffed inside,
The light orange sauce with melted cheese on a squiggle design over the sauce and chilli relano..
