So because people across the country are "feeling the pinch at the gas pump, Congress needs to be doing all it can to bring down costs for American families." Stuff like price controls ya know. Did you know price-fixing is illegal unless Congress does it? I hear that they found that enumerate power somewhere in the Constitution.
