Yep... Monday holiday makes Tuesday trash day roll into Wednesday.

So it's Wednesday, but it sure feels like a Tuesday. Anxious

I enjoy some good trash talking.
My trash is out today due to the Holiday too.
Next week will go back to Tuesday and all will be right with the world.

As long as I have the mic, I'd like to share a trash story from my youth.
My father decided to give me the chore of taking out the barrels and bringing them back inside when I was 8.
Wednesday was pick up day so the trash went out Tuesday evening, seemed simple enough.
He went over the logistics and then asked me to recite the days of the week.

I replied as one would expect, only to learn the new names that have stuck with me for 60 years and counting...
Sunday, Monday, Barrels Out, Barrels In, Thursday, Friday, Saturday.

Love a good, trashy story.

I refuse to make further commentary.

4-5-6.

Dog and bike done. 8k on the FB. KTG was attacked on our walk by some pissy 10 pound, dirty snowball of a dog. KTG won on points.

Coffee down, watching The Naked and the Dead.

It isn't about necrophilia at all.

Welcome to June and the hottest days of the year in Az also known as lizard life. Days are now around 100/75 and will be going up110 - to 115+ or more several days. Actually it's not the most uncomfortable month as the RH is very low. July and Aug will be worse because of the rise in RH with the summer monsoon kicks in even though the temps come down a little.

Great time for golf as tee times are plentiful, no snow birds and even resort courses can be played for $25-$40 when their winter rates are $200+. Play early mornings and be off the course before noon. No problems with traffic and restaurants are not crowded.

Think I just nuked my colon.

Sometimes I can..... overdo things a bit. You want an example, eh?

Been getting in generally better shape. Decided to make a smoothie.

An avocado.
Two bananas.
Cup of strawberries.
Tablespoon of honey.
Handful of spinach.
Few ice cubes.
Half cup of water.

Tasty concoction. About 24 ounces in yield.

30 minutes later, the tummy is.... a bit unsettled.

Don't have to ask how this is going to.. end.

Yeah, bruddah... stay close to a toilet for the rest of the day. I think when that concoction runs its course, you won't get much of a countdown.

Some uncomfortableness and some odd gut sounds, but no breeching of the sphincter dam.

I just went and visited a new Shpo that opened up near my office. They have WiFi and comfortable chairs to work from. This could become a problem.

Monkeypox!

Out at dawn for a 5 miler and then headed for the hills for a few days. Just found out they have opened a Total Wine a few miles from out mountain house so no more need to schlep liquid provisions up from the Valley.

Awaiting the second appearance of yesterday's smoothie. 20 ounces of coffee and the same amount of water has the turbines starting to spin.

Lol, I hear you. My usual shpo is too comfy (and too far from my office). This one has lots of tables with "club" style chairs I can acutally sit and work in, and the TV was off when I walked in yesterday. However, it has a very nice and fully stocked bar with lot's of Buffalo Trace products... I may need to try out this whole "working remotely" thing.

Shower glass installed. Turns out we do not have enough tile for the back splash. Scramble mode engaged.

Departed on dog walk at 0635 at 56 degrees.

Returned at 0835 at 68 degrees. Not sure how many steps that is, but pretty sure it was 5+ miles.

30 minute dog walk completed.

Poor planning but good execution on the bike ride. Made it the six plus miles from home to the Fox River. Rode along the river, was beautiful. The downside was 98.2% of the pedal back was uphill.

Home and now ready to die.
