I Bid on 2 boxes of Macanudo's and they sent me 2 cigars. Not happy. Do they do this often?

200 dollars for 2 sticks is really a bad deal. I spent 1000.000 in the last month and that may be the end of the road for me.

Has anyone else had this problem?

No. Never. LOL.
Great customer service people.
Did you re-check to see exactly what you bid on and read the fine print to be sure?

When I bid, the price was at 65.00 per box. Now it shows up as 2 singles. I doubt that they will fix this. But time will tell. It seems as if others here have had similar problems but on a smaller scale.

I think what he's asking is, did you pull up the auction and verify the print read boxes and didn't specify singles? Pictures don't count.

If the lot was actually for boxes, cust service will help you once you get through to them. If it listed singles, they'll likely ask you to read carefully before bidding

I may have screwed up. I have been happy with the deliveries so far. This one bit me on the backside. 200.00 screw up. Not fun. It says singles But when I bid I was sure it was a quantity of 20 in each box. If I screwed up then it is my fault. Hopefully they will take a look at this.

Thanks for the input.

All you can do is call and hope for the best. Never bid on the picture.

Hopefully you won’t have to wait for upwards of an hour like other customers that had issues.

And while a picture is normally worth a thousand words, in CBid Land, the written description overrules all pictures. Gonz

It’s odd the bid got up to that amount. It’s pretty clear someone else thought it was for boxes as well.

Dude I’d call. Be polite and explain that no way would anyone bid that much for a single macanudo. I typically do pretty well when I talk to people without an attitude and explain things as best as I can

You’ll be on hold for a long time. Honestly I feel pretty good about the company taking care of you.

Show us the listing….

Remember IMAGES aren’t always what you’re bidding on.

But. You do seem like a good egg even if you might be related to a lying dog faced pony soldier….so I’ll let you in on a little secret is long time members know about. The owner of CBID is named Dave and he loves helping the long time forum members when we occasionally run into issues. So call (214) 914-3337 9-4 central time and ask for Dave. Tell Dave you’re friends with jaderose from CBid forums and let him know what issue you’re having and he will get you squared away in no time!

Welcome aboard.
