Hello all.
I've been into this cigar thing [thanks mjrburn] for about 6 months and have been amazed at how much my taste has changed already. But I think I need an intervention because it seems that I have a problem with buying these things. My wife says I spend to much. What does she know?
So I really like the undercrown maduro and sun grown not so much on the shade. AB and la palina Rosado I really dig. Now I haven't had a rocky p that I like and the diesel whiskey row is the only one I didn't finish.

So any suggestions or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

And yes I play the guitar. Not because I'm good but because I like it [another expensive habit].

Is your avatar a picture of your collection? Iffin' it is...wow! Gonz

Back on point: not really surprised that your tastes have changed. Mine did too but luckily it was within 3 months of becoming infatuated with cigars so never really got into the vast ocean of $2 per cigars. And totally funny for me when you said "intervention". A couple of my friends saw my sudden interest and cigar acquisition disorder (...heretofore known as "CAD"...) so we started doing this "new" thing called "herfing" (...well, new to us...) to discuss my "problem." Of course we drank and smoked while trying to "cure me." Eventually both of them became CBid members as well as avid bidders. Flapper

Suggestions:

Sungrown - Fuente 8-5-8, Queen B, Cuban Belicoso and Hemingway Signature

Rosado - Fuente Magnum R44

Yah, I'mma Fuente guy.... Herfing

The Diesel Whiskey Row Sherry Cask is very good. If you didn't like that, I'd be surprised. The other just labeled Whiskey Row isn't the best. Possibly that's the one you tried?

The struggle is real. So I decided that I would go the rest of the month and not buy anything and I knew I would need help so I talked to my friends and explained the situation so mjrburn starts sending me discount codes 😎🤫. Thanks brother. Haha

Palama's mooochin! Sounds like he's low fellas

I would suggest you use the Kohl's philosophy on the wife. Total your Cbid expenditure. Then compare to MSRP and show the wife how much you've saved. You can't afford not to buy cigars

I play bass. Not because I'm good but because anything beyond four strings confuses me

Considering my recent hi-fi equipment rebirth, I sure could use some $50 and $100 bills to help offset the projected cost of a new integrated amp. Gonz

Don pepin blue toro it’s not knock you down strong but it’s sorta unique
It’s called don pepin original. I have bought several boxes of those. They also age well. All the sizes(vitolas) are great but the toro/lancero are my favs.

Herrera esteli original.

In my opinion they are both very flavorful easy to find and unique flavor profiles.

I didn’t like undercrown shade much.

Ezra Zion cigars are pretty great but fairly expensive. Try the first two I mentioned. Bet you like em

Ditto...I tell people I play bass, but never tell them I'm a "bass player"...that would be stretching the truth
