Ho Lee Chit!

ATT came out, ran line to my house and into the basement. Got everything setup and first thing I visited was speedtest.net

948 mbps down 924 mbps up. And no data cap or overage charges!

I'm so excited. Now to call India and get Comcast cancelled.

Waz up, folks?

Had a haircut this morning then went to the repair shop to see my car. It is going to be next week at the earliest that it will be finished. That will make it over 3 months to repair my car. Laying around most of the rest of the day. That's all.

Same boat for me. Deer jumped out in front of me and got taken out at 80mph. May 7th.

Radiator support won't be be available until July 14th.

Outstanding! Porn stinks when you have to constantly wait for buffering.

There's been a lot of stuff on streaming services that we can't watch because of that. If we want to see something in HD we have to download it first before watching. Now I can just stream it in 4k - even better than HD.

I'm looking forward to trying out call of duty and other online games. I've played here and there a bit, but the internet connection was limiting me. I saved a few videos where I dump 10 rounds into the back of someone's head but then I die. On the killcam replay I'm shown just spinning in circles with my gun pointed at the sky. Racing games too. I try to play with a group of gridlife buddies online but I'll be closing on the inside of the turn and the dude on the outside coming in like he don't see me so I try to go more inside, then there's a brief pause and I'm going off the outside into the grass. The other guys say I'm just kinda skipping all over the track sometimes stopped sometimes going left to right etc.

WHen I cancelled comcast they said "I don't know why you're on such a slow plan, we don't even offer that anymore" I said I know, I've called annually to try to get the price down or the speed up or both. She said we can bring your price down to $80/mo and bring your max speed to 100mbps instead of 30. But my actual speed is almost always less than 10 and many times less than 1 so that doesn't do much for me now does it?

Palm trees near pools is definitely a bad idea...the original owners planted four tall queens and three pygmies around the pool. We had problems with the seeds dropping into the pool and clogging the skimmer and filter our first year here. Our solution was to watch for the trees to sprout their seed pods. Once they mature and start to open, cut them off.

I manage the shorter pygmy trees...just finished yesterday, trimming all the seed pods and pruning the fronds with brown tips. We hire our landscaper to climb the tall trees to remove those pods.

We live in a breezy windy region...windblown grass seeds, flower petals like bougainvillea and dandelions are another bane this time of year....during pool season, I'm out skimming a few times a week.

Ya the bougainvillea float around on the air like feathers and the only thing that will stop them is .... water.

Those bastids are always trying to get me. I've even seen them cross, then turn around and come back because they missed. Only my lightning quick, catlike reflexes have kept me safe

The highest glory a deer can achieve is to bend the body panel of a pristine vehicle.

They don't hit hoopties.

They sit and wait in the ditches and woods looking for something that not only carries humans, but strongly reflects light. I'd imagine a matte wrap would be an effective deer deterrent.

They sit and wait and rarely do they get a full front and center hit which is why I don't believe they contact cars by accident. It's more often a corner hit or in my cases (twice) the deer hit the car in the side. But I've dispatched and composted 3 deer from my yard that were half alive but lost their tango with a trucko

Good Thursday Morning! Our cable service has been restored, a bright new cable is laying on the ground waiting to be covered up. It's an early foggy 75° on the way to 99° today.

Morning, peoples

So, a while back, I conned a wonderful girl into spending her life with me. 15yrs later, and she still hasn't caught on that she got scammed. It's a good thing she's purty, 'cause her judgment of character is highly questionable. Probably owe her a fancy dinner or something. It's the least I can do

Congrats suno and my condolences to the sunoette.

Up and out early for a 5 miler. Headed up to the mile high house for a cool down later this morning.

I have never hit a deer but I did hit a Christmas tree at 70 mph. Never got a good look at the truck it came out of but my insurance agent had a good laugh.

I have sympathy for you as my car was was rear-ended and will be in the shop until perhaps next week (at the earliest), which will total 90 days in the repair shop due to parts issues.

Hell Yeah! The Avs were up 3-1 end of the first. Allowed 2 goals in the second within 2 minutes of each other and pulled it out in OT.

Slept in a bit.

Spoke to election office and I am scheduled to work 17 days at the polls for early voting in the primaries and in the general election. Long hours (10-12 hour days without breaks except for the bathroom).

The reason I do it is that I simply, but very strongly, believe in the right to vote- and feel it is my duty to help others vote.

I'm going to serve as a ballot machine tech again and will be able to ensure the integrity of the data, machine and paper ballots.

It is also the very best job at the poll because people are happy to vote- and those who need help with the machines are very appreciative.

Starts in early July and am really excited about it. Herfing
