I joined CBID.

What a great ride over the years!

The banter and politics of CBID can get harsh. Nevertheless, I have had the pleasure of meeting a chit-ton of fine people and BOTL from here, both live and virtually.

I apologize for the times I have gone overboard, but look forward to another 15 years with you asshats!

Apology! WTF for, this is Cbid, your contributions far outweigh any perceived butthurt.

On this day, in the Year of Our Lord, June 23rd, 2007.

George W. Bush had been President of the United States of America for 6 years.

Amy Winehouse hit the Billboard Hot 100 at #4 with Rehab.

The first IPhone was released 6 days later.

The average life expectancy at birth for persons born in the U.S. was 77.9 years.

As of today Robert has been active on this forum for 5,463 days.

The Whispers - Open up your love just starting playing and I'm grooving to much to look up anything else.

Here's to 5,463 more Robert! Cheers! Beer

Wait.. didn't you just get a major body part replaced? And you are alive and able to bust balls? In my (grandparents') day if you broke a hip you died... I hope when my time comes I'll be able to snap up and snap back.

Me thinks your are recovering way to fast. We should send Drafter and frank down to kneecap you just for fun.

Then again knees are replaceable too... day surgery. Nowadays they can replace body parts faster than a typical teenager trying to replace a flat tire.

Hey….aren’t you dead? Again? Any parts on you not yet replaced?

Cheers, Robert! You fit well into our melting pot of madness and senseless senselessness.

Happy CBid anniversary Robert...when I joined nearly 11 years ago, I enjoyed reading your essays about Noah's soccer exploits, which reminded me of when my son played soccer a couple decades before. Those were great bonding years for father and son (you and me) as I coached and refereed in the AYSO league in which he participated. Your posts reacquainted me with fond memories ....and caused a little bit of jealousy since those events you were experiencing were in my rear view mirror...forever.

You are a true gentleman, even in the face of belligerence, insults, and nonsense from those who only see you as a "point of view"...and are unable to see the class beneath the shallow veneer of politics.

Looking forward to the day when I can shake your hand and smoke a cigar with you!

Don’t do it. You’ll only throw out your back trying to lift it, it will throw your hip out, fall on and crush your knee, which will put you in cardiac arrest.

You’ll have to start all over.

That is about as fine a compliment as I have ever seen, and reflects as much on Delta as it does on Robert.

I’m thinking 2.5 years out to get back to Florida now due to a 2 year detour to somewhere else that may be happening.
