True. But, the question is whether their chasing him down and shooting him while he was fleeing on foot was reasonable under the circumstances. IDK. Need more info.

They didn’t know at the time of the shooting that this fine citizen had left the pistol in the vehicle he fled from. Also they weren’t running when they shot.

Biggest problem I had watching it was their fields of fire, one shouldn’t have been shooting IMO was real close to flagging his buddy.

8 cops are gonna shoot a bunch of rounds if you shot at one of them then run and appear to be reaching towards your waist.

First rule of interaction with police, you don’t beat them in the streets you do that in court. Been there done that.

So he fled from them in a vehicle, then shot at the police so they should’ve just stopped their cars and let him flee? And once fleeing they had to presume he still had his weapon, so when he then made an aggressive motion towards them they did their jobs. His actions led to his results. Everybody wants to Monday morning QB what police have to do in the moment when it’s not a video game or you have a do over. Not to mention people want to claim it was racially motivated despite this occurring at 12:30AM and the person had a black ski mask on so they had zero idea the makeup of the individual they were dealing with.

Heard a rumor about the police but not sure if it is true.

When the police turn on the lights and siren, pull over immediately.
Stay in the car and follow the officer’s instructions.

I’m guessing he doesn’t have this proprietary information.

If damned racist cops would share those expectations, there would likely be fewer bloody outcomes.
