After one year of living in Cali I went back to Florida for a couple of days. The humidity nearly kilt me. You get used to it eventually.

Meh... already getting used to it.

Is what it is. Did not want to be in CA any more, so you take the good with the bad.

Decided against making bread out of mesquite pods after seeing how much work was involved in separating out the the seeds. Those early injuns sure had it rough but they had no internet to mess around on either.

I pulled a few nose hairs instead.

Wow.

Welcome home.

Your new CBID name will be: "CHOKING". LOL.

By the time next summer comes around you will get used to it because you will ease into it during spring and summer. YMMV

Nope. Just July- September. Beautiful weather the entire rest of the year.

Spent yesterday shopping for a new Mac laptop for my son. Checked out Costco and the Apple Store. Waiting to pull the trigger until Monday when we have a one week tax holiday (6-7%) on school supplies. By using the tax-free holiday, current discounts ($150) and buying it with his apple Card, which gives four years same as cash and a 5% discount, he will save $ $350-400!

Nothing to do today so I am taking my toxic waste to the transfer station today. I have 50 gallon garbage can full of stuff to get rid of.

Daughter arrives from Detroit early tomorrow morning. Then we are leaving for Boca Raton Thursday afternoon/evening to get rid of most of her stuff/furniture and to move out of her apartment to fully move her to Detroit for at least 3-4 months for business reasons related to her boyfriend. Really going to miss her a lot and look forward to her return to Florida. On top of that, We are moving Noah down to Miami next weekend. Ugh!

You probably do not want another credit card, but the Apple CC does have some advantages when you purchase Apple hardware. I do not have one so I cannot speak from experience.

Does this forum setup allow for "Sticky" threads that remain at the top of the listing? It would be great if there was a sticky thread re CS issues so people would stop making new ones for the same issues...

Maybe that is what the CS team is working on, instead of answering the phones...

^ They do not. Tried this for couple post in cigar forum many years ago. I agree. If issues aren't being resolved CANCEL YOUR CREDIT CARD PURCHASE AND GO ELSEWHERE .ram27bat

I have been very fortunate with purchases here and CI in the past month, must admit I am hesitant on any further purchases from both.

Ditto RAM. I haven't purchased from CBid lateley, but was browsing and thought "why not!", but then imagined the shame I would feel if I had to post a "why doesn't CBID love me anymore" thread...

Having said that, I think Shana picks up the phone quickly when I call because she sees the AZ area code and thinks DED is calling. We all know about those two... She sounds disappointed when she hears my voice, but helps me anyway.

Another productive day.

Tried to put another coat on the deck but the sealer from coat 1 did its job and the stuff was just beading on the surfaces. Abort mission.

Small rv show at the local mall where there's monthly gang-related shootings so we went at 10am when they opened. We love camper shows and every time find something that ticks 9/10 boxes. But I don't want to get a new one until I have a barn. Outdoor storage kills them in 5 years and/or increases the maintenance.

Got home and did some chores, moved the grill and table/chairs n stuff back on the deck. UPS came and dropped off the corrugated steel panels and I built new raised planters for around the deck. Now I need to pay out the nose for black dirt to fill them.

Took a 30m nap now time for grilling. Wife's friend dropped off some zucchinis, so I'm grilling them and some brats.

Dodge vans.
Our shpo has five of them. Asked why.

Dodge vans are made cheaply.
They get major problems more quickly than other makes (usually not long after the warranty is up).
When faced with a large dollar repair of their decrepit jalopy or selling, the shop tends to buy, fix, and then put me behind the wheel.

Had a Boli PC while walking Tank this afternoon. Good thing I picked a small cigar. After about 4 blocks the pupper was like, "Hey, pops... it's fuggin' hot, lets go back."

He started panting after 1 block. I think he may take longer to adjust to the humidity.

For the football game f.k.a The World's Largest Cocktail Party, will Tank cheer on his home state Gators, or stay with his bloodline and pull for the Georgia Bulldogs.

What about you?
Gators or Seminoles?

Spent most of the day outside doing yardwork. Some weeding, weedwacking and mowing. Attacked the small hill in the back. May have to figure out the best way to take out the grass, ginger plants, two ti leaf plants and a plumeria tree and install artificial turf. Probably get a contractor to do it.

The big 15oz. bags are a great deal…but the shipping seems a tad high.

Good Wednesday Morning! It's 73° and raining, it should get to 94° later today. Going to the indoor range today for a little dry pistol practice and to try out a recent aquisition an Arex Zero 9mm. Arex is a Slovenian company where my RIP MIL was born.

Checked it out... Tank had a blast! It's not on the same scale as the one teedub goes to, but they serve beer and coffee and it's got a splash pad, hoses, soaking tubs for da dogs... I'll likely get a membership to it.

$365 for the year and you get a free beer or free coffee on Fridays. Plus some of their schwag...

Wasn't far behind you. Was on the street at 5:10. Have to get some work done and some water into my system before I allow myself coffee.

As for dressing down. how do you dress down from nekkid? Think
