Just finished talking to a friend for the first time after she lost an election race nine days ago by like 500 votes out of 93K votes cast.(98.2% degree of confidence in these numbers). I gave her some space after her loss and now she is back on-track again and will be running again in two years for the same position, different group (not against the person who beat her, for whom she has nothing but praise(no ill will).

Swam 500 yds this morning. Still trying to get my car crash claims settled amicably. Wife has Thursday's off so we always hang out together like we are today.

That's about it for now.

Morning, peoples. Covering two departments today and then a lovely drive to the airport to pick up the boy who's visiting for a couple of weeks. Guess I gotta start wearing pants around the house again.

Three hours of meeting spanning lunchtime. Grazed on leftovers. Unfulfilling.

Low key here.
Dog walked, steps in, fed the squirrels, brought the garbage and recycling cans in, checked the mail.
Leicester vs Man Utd now.

I think my worst was 7 hours straight of meetings. Of course on-site is always more than that.

My dilemma now is how to be at one client for a victory party, another client for a kickoff, and the wife heading to Houston to find a house all potentially on the same week. To top it off the clients are all east coast.

So the boy's plane was delayed in taking off. Then it had to reroute around a storm. It was supposed to land at 7:50 but got in closer to 10. Got home about 11:30 and am now tired puppy. Off to work

Morning, peoples

Mornin' dudes... off to the house again. Bringing pretty much the last of the stuff we toted in the truck. If the router arrives today, wish me luck in figuring out how to get it working. fog

They usually come with some pretty clear instructions. If not, call customer support.

Also, make sure you change the default username and password on it. 98.2% of off shelf routers have the username of "Admin" or "admin" and the default password is "Admin", "admin", or "password."

Change it to something unique as you wouldn't want to give any Tom, Richard, or Harry easy access to log onto your home network.

Avocado, two bananas, cup of strawberries, cup of spinach, tablespoon of honey, cup of water, couple ice cubes- blended.

Full of nutrients and a sure fire mid morning constitutional now on the calendar.

Sounds like too healthy of a breakfast.

You forgot...

2 eggs, scrambled
Bacon
Hash browns or home fries
Sourdough or rye toast.

That's the standard morning meal if I go out for breakfast.

3-4" of rain the last two days. Pool is draining. Then, off for a short lap swim (ribs still hurt a lot), and on to my 84-year old mother's house to inspect her car and call her auto insurer because she got hit Tuesday. Thankfully, she's not hurt. Hope the location of the p.d. on each car matches up in the photos of the other guy's car matches up wiith her explanation of what occured- because she says the other guy lied to the cop and no one got a ticket....

When my daughter was at UCF she got wrecked twice. Nobody can drive in Orlando. (She was at fault for one of the wrecks)

Did she hire a lawyer for the one she wasn't at fault for? If so, who?

Close to what I prefer.
Three eggs over medium.
Sausage patty.
Hash browns.
Sour dough toast.
Dark cherry Kind breakfast bar.
Half pot of coffee.

Once a week on the smoothie concoction.

No lawyer. Just rear ended at a red light by an uninsured driver who was visiting from Argentina. About 2k in damage that my insurance had to eat and then go after the rental car company.

She was fine. She was pissed though. Good thing the police were there. We were a block away just about to meet her for dinner in downtown Disney. Kinda ruined dinner.

Evening gents. Another day at the house...

Dude I first spoke with about tree removal seemed a bit sketchy. Asked him if he was a broker and he was like, no I'm the finance and accounting guy. Google search shows his bidness popped up 9 months ago... he's the ceo, secretary... yeah. A broker.

Well... he ain't real bright because the guy he was going to pay to do my job showed up. I never agreed to it, and told him I'd be getting more estimates.

So the guy who showed up was the actual guy who does the work... totally different bidness... so I made the deal with THAT guy and cut out the middle man. Saved $275. BigGrin
