I remember a time about 20 years ago on another forum where I had a week and a half argument with another poster. When I finally backed off a moderator stepped in and rekindled the battle with the other guy. Nobody left the forum, in
fact they spent more time checking out the daily battle. So who are all the people that left this forum ? I can't think of anyone that has left lately.

Depending on how you define “lately”, SmokeMonkey / Chris and USNGunner / Vince both are gone because of politics. Dunno the exact things that pizzed them off, I just know it revolved around the big P.

I've been banned here 2 times or more, but not permanently. I was banned from another site's sub-forum but the guy that banned me is long gone (all I did was criticize him once).

Hey All,
Recently got back into cigars in a major way (since the late 90’s) and started building my collection. I have one big question right off the bat. Where is the ‘introduction’ section of the forum? I am on a bunch of other forums and the-search function here isn’t much help. I would like to start off here correctly and not piss off the OT’s. I have thick-skin but my limits like everyone else. Just a little guidance or nudge in the right direction. Btw I am also a fairly new customer to CI/Cigar Bid and want to say i love their format/pricing/system but the lack of getting customer service/assistance is an issue. Either way TIA and wish to see y’all around the boards.

Feel free to start an intro thread in the Misc General Discussion. The harassment should progress naturally from there.

The service is a hopefully temporary issue. They do great when you can reach them, and they used to be easy to reach. Fingers crossed for the future

IRC, you were banned a couple times pretty quickly for repeatedly calling people "****", in jest. The third time they allowed you back, you joked around about "****" also being a British term for a cigarette- and they canned you right away. I remember suggesting to you that you sign in under a new name, but you just figured f' em. It's good to see you back. Please don't, however, drunk dial me at 4:00am, bro!

CA, too... and NY... and NJ... and a buncha other liberal run sh*tshows. I left SoCal and I'm in Jax FL. Only been here 2 months, but most folks here are friendly and polite.

On today's dog walk I met a Filipino dude walking his pittie who moved here from the same county in SoCal that I left! He's been here since January.

Wife and I almost got Creamed on I-95 last year in Jax FL... running on up to Savanna GA on our we're looking at property in Key Largo (where we got Hitched) or over by St. Pete area... but that will be a few years down the road...
for now we've been traveling on the Bike quite a bit...

Then ADD took over and I forgot this place was even a thing until Z started a refugee group on that meta site.


Also went looking for Z’s candy van, but all I found was a Mormon missionary on a ten-speed with a melted snickers bar in his pocket.
