Packers got some help yesterday but still need much more help in getting a playoff spot but main thing is they gotta win today.

I’mma just gonna cheer them to get the W ‘cause I learned years ago not to cheer AND have something, betting-wise, on the line. Suffered double losses more than a few times as well as win one side, lose the other.

Yup.

Was hoping that the game would be for the division with lotta marbles on the line but Monday's game changed that. Should be interesting to see how Cincy is gonna react / recover from Monday. Also, is Lamar still gonna be out (...until he gets PAID!...)?

Have no interest in betting on this game but hope Seattle loses and misses the playoffs.

Edit: The BRAND. NEW. LIONS. played spoilers and Seachickens get in. ram27bat

I’m a huge ravens fan. I’m not a Lamar fan. Thought I’d drop that here. Trade him Rebuild. My 02 cents

Win in the playoffs if you want money. Play a full season if you want money. Sorry. Hype train. Spectacular athlete. I think the ravens would have more playoff wins to date if they stuck with flacco.

That said go ravens

The fantastic athlete that can run like a deer and throw the ball a country mile will ALWAYS fascinate GMs and coaches. Against lesser competition and early into their pro careers they look like the 2nd coming of Jesus but once there’s enough tape on them, their limitations become apparent. Lamar is turning out to be no exception. Plus, his style of play does seem to lend to injuries that have or will curtail some of the specialness.

While I don’t blame athletes for trying to get as much money as soon as they can, sometimes their expectations are beyond reason. But, it takes two to tango and if there’s an owner out there that’s willing to ante up (…Watson…), well, that’s on them but the fallout affects the rest of the league.

Fo’ sure if the Ravens pay Lamar what he’s demanding, the team will be salary strapped for years. I’m not sure he can win with lesser talent around him. Coupled with him aging and, potentially, more lower body injuries to rob him of his speed and elusiveness, the team will still be competitive and in the talk as a Super Bowl contender but not have enough to win it all.

Agreed^. Seems tough to want money while sitting on the sidelines with a knee injury as a run first qb. Trade Lamar let someone else pay him.

Watching the first game of Super Wild Card Weekend and while I don't like either SF or Seattle, kinda hoping that the Seachickens get smacked badly by the Niners. Then again, I wouldn't care if the Seattle came back (...currently down 17-31, 4th qt....) either.

Chazbo, I’ll take the Bengals…but will defer to Stinger if he wants to play. I know he HATES, HATES, HATES the Ravens!

So yah, tentatively we’re on for a friendly 5ver.

Miami - Buffalo game a bit interesting but the talent difference, especially at QB, is rearing it's ugly head.

But the 'Fins aren't going quietly into the night....

Conan, I will let you take it. Thanks for thinking of me. If it was regular season, I would have probably taken it….just a little superstitious about betting on my team.

Copy that.

I remember you not wanting to bet on them in the Super Bowl too. I feel the same way about my Packers so totally understand the sentiment.

Charles, we are on!

Little bit of a miscue on qb sneak last night…. Huntley played a respectable game. I ain’t mad at him. Hope burrow smoked a good cigar after that one. Lamar didn’t even travel with his team……. Yeah I’m done w him. I don’t want him As a leader even if you are too hurt to give “100 percent”. You get your azz on the sideline and mentor You put your team first. Rant over. See you next year in playoffs fellas.

Stinger I believe you’re the bengals fan? Hope your boys carry this one all the way. Good team

Yah, I thought the drama with Lamar was gonna affect the team. And with Huntley starting his first playoff game, it seemed like the Bengals could cover. Harbaugh had a good game plan and if it wasn’t for the Fumble-6, we might be talking about an outright Ravens win.

After Baltimore signed Roquan Smith to his big contract, I had a feeling that, internally, they’re gonna be okay with trading Lamar. I mean, how you gonna give him the BIG BUCK$ and still have a semblance of a good team? Once-in-a-generation talent beginning his downward slide? Sell high, buy low!

Conan,
If you want to go double or nothing on tonight’s game I will take Dallas -2.5 or we can wait until next week.
Thanks

Conan agreed. I’ve been die hard ravens for years. They are defensive by design. That’s where the money goes. If you wanna play for the ravens you’re gonna gotta understand that. Heck if Huntley had a little more experience I believe he could’ve won that game. Terrible mistake (play was designed for him to stay low. Push the whole pile in end zone). But he was 6 inches shy. Tough break

As far as Lamar goes. I don’t want selfish players on the team I love. Pack yo sh it goodbye

Iffin' you're cool with next week, then I'm good with that.

I can't stand Jerry Jones but had Tom Brady, Mike Evans and the Bucs defense on my fantasy team. Needless to say, except for brief bursts of brilliance, Tampa Bay and my FFL team sucked! So while I would love to see the Cowgirls lose, the suckiness of the Bucs overrides my desire to see sad JJ so no bet tonight, at least from me.
