Did it ever really show up? Really? Think

IIRC there was 5-6 days with temps below freezing. I seen a lot of covered plants in the neighborhood... my wife covered her squash plants, but they died anyway. Meh... they'll likely sprout again when the weather gets real sunny.

I do that once a month, buddy. And I also clean out the drain line every other month. Cool

You don’t need to change that filter that often. No more brush fire smoke!

Every other month, then? I put it in white as a sheet and after a month it's gray and dirty... so I've been changing it monthly. I had new ones the previous owner left behind. Got 2 left and just ordered 4 more on Amazon. They're like $10 each.

I was told to pour 8 ounces of vinegar down the drain line every other month. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes... chase it with a couple liters of hot water and vacuum it out with a shop vac from the outside. Been doing that and so far so good.

AC drains can definitely clog there and are a pain in the Aztec. Autocorrect wanted Aztec so Aztec it is.

Good Tuesday Afternoon to all! Had to hustle over to the range this morning. We got ten sample lots of RWS .22 ammunition to find the best lot and order a quantity for future matches. Found a lot that shot great in my wife's rifle and not bad in mine. I already have several bricks of good ammo for my rifle but just one for my wife's rifle.

I think about doing attic chores only on the coldest and hottest days of the year.

Yeah... you couldn't get me in an AZ attic in the summer. If you got work to do up there, you best do it now.

Fortunately for me, my HVAC system is in a closet in the kitchen. Easy to get to, easy to work on, and surrounded by AC. BigGrin

Is that common in your area? Seem like it would be noisy in the house?

Yeah, I had about three guys come out last year to fix my drain that was not draining properly so I'm on it this time.

MAC Not sure why you are changing AC filter so often. When owned home service provider for AC unit and furnace changed yearly. Hell even every 6 months should be fine. Sure they show color change, but they are not near being stopping air flow through the filter. Just my .02 cents. Change away.

We have always been told to change the in-house inlet filter each month. Wifey puts one out each 1st day of the month to remind me. Due tomorrow.

Never mind.

DED - whole neighborhood is like that. My buddy across town has his in the garage. Mine is quiet as a mouse, I can hardly tell when it's running.

RAM - you're probably right. I changed the one in the CA house whenever I thought about it, which wasn't nearly as often and that HVAC system lasted 20 years!

HD - HA!

I have to change mine about every 3-4 weeks. Animals generate a lot of airborne dust. I usually wait for the high limit switch to trip on the furnace. Filters come out pretty dirty and bulged from being sucked so hard trying to circulate air.

I've bought the cheaper more porous filters instead of the expensive small particle ones. But with a cat in the house and my cat allergies, didn't work for me. Did that for 6 mo. Plus, had to clean dust off my lego sets a lot more often with them.

Paying the piper for overdoing it yesterday. DED-in-the-head drove and end result of 10+ miles walked. Doing much of that outside provided to not be the smartest thing. I'm not widely known for doing the smartest thing.

It is warming up. 4 wc -6.

Careful you people in Texas, Arkansas, and Tennessee. Lots of ice.

Yessir... exact same setup. The condenser is outside and the handler is in the closet. I'll probably switch to every couple months myself.

I walked the dog, did 15 minutes of elliptical, 15 of running, 15 of walking... showered, ate, and prepped a prime rib for cooking later.

My wife's friend's birthday is today, and her family is in SoCal so we're doing the birthday bash for her.
