My sincerest apologies. I was wrong in my previous post. These things are dog rockets, garbage, horse manure, cow manure, in fact, a blend of horse and cow manure.

Don't order them. Sarcasm

Won a box of 20 tonight and I'm thrilled. Everyone talks about their Baitfish, their this, their that.... I'm of the mindset that if I have to choose a cheap / decent / yard cigar for life, the little 4.5 x 44 5 Vegas Series 'A' Anomaly Corona's might just be the hill that I die on. I might stock up a war chest full of em' and be happy.

In other news, I also won a 5 pack of Caldwell Long Live the King The Heater Corona (5.7x46) that I've never had before. I'm aware they're not quite as strong as I like but I was willing to give them a shot, plus, I got trigger happy with bidding. I'm sure I'm not the first to get trigger happy near the end of a bid. I could have let them slide but at the end of the day, I was more curious to see what they were like so I bid and won. Herfing

Can somebody help me out here? > Man O War used to make some (Dark Horse?) that were about 4.5 x 44 / same size as the 5 Vegas and now I'm seeing they are no longer in production. *WHY* ???? I have 4 of them left in my humidor and I *LOVE* them....

Now I see they have the Dark Horse 6x44 and I'm wondering if it's not the same dang cigar, only longer? If that's the case I can live with it. If they rebranded it to that 6x44, fine..... but I'd like to confirm if that's in fact what happened. ??

You ought to try the 5 Vegas petites. 4.2 x 32. I bought 50 of them for quickee winter smokes, but they last 30 minutes or more and are not a bad smoke.

I'm have to try these. My favorite budget stick on here is probably the 5 Vegas Triple A. I wish they made those in a corona.

Not sure about those Man O War's.

Try a MOWPA, or a MOWPA maduro, although I think the regular line is better

problem: MOW 6" x 44 Dark Horse too long...be better if they were 4.5" x 44

solution: cut 1.5" off the 6" MOW Dark Horse...............................feel better?

Oh Believe me, I've thought about that and I don't have a problem doing that. That really doesn't answer my question though. I'm wondering why MOW stopped making the shorter 4.5 x 44 versions.

I just checked my humidor and compared them to the 4.5 x 44 5Vegas Anomaly Corona's. 1) They are exactly the same size. 4.5 x 44 and I checked the band with my glasses on and it definitely says "Dark Horse" ...

So yeah, I'll just order the 6 x 44 Dark Horses and chop em'. It's all about time for me.

It's like the CAO Brazillia Piranha - Best smoke of my life and smoke so thick it looked like cotton coming out of my mouth. Discontinued. Makes no sense.

I just won some ? x 32's / Man O Wars..... that's what it was. A tin of 10 I think. I'm going to see / test if I even like the 32 size and then I might branch out if I do. Thanks for the tip.

I actually have some of those MOW Dark Horse cigarillos I haven't tried yet. Got them last November. I'll pull one out and try it this weekend.

Tony, it was MOW DarkHorse ? x 32...

Perfectly packed. No yellow cello. Initial taste from the tip was sugar sweet which I didn't care for at all. However after a minute or 3 that went away. It's a 32 RG so I wasn't expecting a perfect burn but that's pretty much what I got. It was my first 32 ever and it went out twice but that was definitely my fault / not used to it / etc... fire right back up and had good flavor and at the 1st 1/3rd I thought I wasn't going to like them at all just because.....

By the end, my 2 star review shot up to a solid 4 star, would order more. The sweet went away fast. Then it was just good MOW flavor. Good smoke volume. Nice Tin. Can't complain.

I got a couple 5ers of these 5 Vegas Series 'A' Anomaly Corona to test then bought another box. They're good but I've had to touch up a few.

When I opened the box and looked at the tin, it was good looking. Classy. (Giving full review here)
The tin opened and closed correctly / no dents, etc, so that was good.
Each cigarillo is wrapped in it's own cellophane which annoys me to no end but that's personal and just me.
At first glance they were a bit smaller than I expected and thought immediately that I would not enjoy them ~ I was wrong

They have the full on punch of cigar IMHO and definitely satisfies the urge. They burn well IMHO with no correcting needed. The only negative I can think of is they do go out fairly quickly which is reasonable and logical. Can't set one of them down and come back a few minutes later and keep puffing..... it'll be out for sure. A re-light is needed or just don't go away.

They're good. Would recommend / will buy more myself for sure.

Interesting.

Perhaps just my experience but my advice (as with any cigar) is to let em' rest a while. Right out of the box fresh, I've had to touch up a few too but if you let em' rest 6 months to a year I think you'll find a stark difference. That's been my experience anyway.
