Caldwell Long Live The King The Heater

They both suck. Horrible. Don't order. Abort. Abort. Abandon mission. Give up.

(I may have had a few beers and a good buzz going but I dare say that Caldwell was one of the best cigars I've ever had in my life ---- and that's not biased, I've been plenty buzzed and smoked plenty of other cigars while being buzzed. It was just damn good. Really damn good)

But seriously, save your $$. Order something else.

Honestly, the Heaters never did anything for me... I wanted to like them, but they just didn't do anything for me.

I have had pretty good luck with the King is Dead and Long live the King.
Had a couple Long Live that had some construction issues, but I like em when they can be had at the right price.
Just tough getting decent prices……………on almost anythimg.

Serious Q. What's a good price? $3.50? 2.50? Not for a specific cigar. just for anything you like having around for a daily.

Opinions will vary by budget of course, but for my budget, *ANY* cigar that I like under $2 is absolutely fantastic, above $2 to $2.50 is more realistic and doable. Right at under $3 per...... including shipping is the goal.

But that's me.

Others will say $5 to $10, etc, etc....

Sounds about where I am/was at. With a stash of fivers under $15 I can't buy much in that range at the moment. Therefore the $5-$7 range is where I have been searching, but only buying multiple singles or if a fiver comes in right around $4-$5 per cigar.

King has been around a while.......just was curious whether any $2-$3 cigars were still cheap for what they are. I got the Caldwell connoisseur 20 bundle for $61 two weeks ago. Seems like a value price, but sure most auctions are a bit higher for those.

It depends….
Note, price is what I pay…..not msrp, etc.

I buy yardgars infrequently these days as I typically only keep 20 or so on hand. - $1-$2/ea

My daily smokes, which represents probably 80+% of my stash - $3-$5/ea

My “premium” - $6 or more. I say “premium”, because my “premium” is a daily, or even a yardgar for some folks I know…

^ I haven’t tried the cigarillos but I’m a fan of the Virtue for sure. Nice mild smoke.
