To quote a wise cigar smoker,

'I love it when a plan comes together.'

Noobs united to show the vets what true mettle we are made of. This, this will be a glorious day forever remembered in CBid history. Wonder if SteveR is getting a good chuckle outta this.

...

Maybe he might miss the fact that he might be the first target. It is this site that got us Noobs to end up here in the first place. :p

Ody, as we pass into the abyss that is being a CBid Vet we will pass on the task of blasting the vets to the new noobs. The only thing is, when a noob becomes a vet he has to do something to help the noobs like all the current vets do. He has to attain the rank of Generous Vet before he deserves the wrath of the Noobies!

So, I ask again, what are you Noobs rebelling against? Are teh Vets & FOGs keeping you from the good stuff, forcing you to smoke gas station cigars? Are we ensuring you only have access to those cigars sold in convienience stores, like (shudder) grape White Owls and banana Phillies?

Are you embarassed because many of you received a glorious package of cigars in a Newbie trade that far exceeded your paltry offerings in return?

So maybe you all should just calm down, relax and let time and experience work their magic and eventually transform you noobs into the higher beings known as vets, the all important next step on your path to become the exaulted FOG.

I see what the problem is here. Jealousy. The current vets are now jealous that the current crop of noobs has some initiative while when they were noobs they just sat back and let the vets back then smack them around with good smokes.

Its ok guys and gals. Sit back relax and enjoy the Noobie Noobie Dooooo show!!

Good morning. Its nice to see the Noobs unite, as interesting as it may be, I am wondering what you expect out of this. A mass bombing is a wonderful thing to see, but also a lot of work and expense on both parties. Are you expecting your RAOK to be repaid ?? Are you trying to impress the BOTL on the boards. Take a good look at your intentions.. If you are really doing this bombing as an act of kindness and do not expect anything in return, then my hats of to you.

When the vets gather to bomb, we do it from our hearts and do not expect a return. Hence the word RAOK. Sometimes we return fire when we receive a RAOK and sometimes not.. So if you are expecting a return you are doing it for the wrong reason..

If you are doing this bombing to impress some of your friends and some of the vets, you are doing this for the wrong reason again.

Believe me, I`m tickled pink you have united, I just want you to look at your reasons for doing so.. If you united for the right reasons I would have to think you have learned well and my hats off to you.

Maybe during your quest of bombings you would consider getting a addy or two from Smitty and the Doc and bomb some of the troops. If this were to happen I`m sure some of the vets would join your cause.

Bombing the troops would be a true act of kindness and one would think that would truly be a bombing that would make history.

If I happen to be on your list, I would be honored if you would put the names of the troops in my place and then invite me to be in on the RAOK.

I can not speak for all the noobs but I think I can chime in for Gramps and myself that we are doing this to say thank you for all the help, advice and overpower hits the vets lay down on us. Nothing is wanted or expected in return. Besides, logistically after getting smacked by like 30 people, it would not make sense for somebody to return bomb in those kind of numbers.

Most of us, I assume, have given to the troops and will continue to do so.

Kind of uncool WT to question our motivation but I guess you don't know any of us personally so how could you know if we are descent people or not.

I am assuming that all the Noobs on this board are good people and I am not questioning there motivation, just asking them to look inside themselves to make sure they are in the right frame of mind. I guess you missed my point when I said I am tickled pink to see the Noobs unite.

Also Hombre, most of the Noobs that have united have traded with me on more than one occasion. I`m sure at least they will look to find the positive in my post and see it advice not criticism.

WT,

Just trying to have a little fun Bro, I can’t speak for everyone but I think the majority are doing the same thing. Although I do think Gramps will get slapped around a little for starting this thing LOL. But from what I’ve seen on the boards everyone seems to pay it forward. I enjoy reading the treads and I think the idea of us FNG’s banding together to slap a vet is great. Also your gesture for the troops is a excellent idea and if someone wants to start another care package for them I’m in (I wouldn’t know where to send them).

I just need to add my two cents and agree fully with WT. Anyone that is doing this other than out of the goodness of their hearts, or similar reason should bow out.

In my humble opinion, the only time you should be expecting something in return besides a few words of appreciation, is in a trade, box pass or a group like the birthday clubs.

Why have I hit a few guys lately? Wt because of his willingness to answer my questions. Rox for running contests like the nascar threads. And in general, the generousity of certain guys IMHO needs to be replied to with more than just words.

Sorry about the rant and feel free to tell me where to go if you disagree

Ditto hombre. Vet can do with the bomb as he see fits, but trying to payback 30+ newbies is not an option. Im sure a good portion of this attack will end up with the troops, so much the better. I think the vets are getting a little scared.... Bill

WT, I don't speak for everyone, but I am in it to "pass it forward" for all that's been done to make me feel welcome from you and the rest of the guys.

I definitely don't want our hit to feel he needs to recipricate anything. I know we will be in his thoughts when he enjoys whatever he gets, and thats payback enough. And with us being noobs of various financial states, no one needs to think anyone's contribution is more or less than anothers. WT, I definetely don't want to happen on this thread the crap that took place on the herf thread. That whole business has me doubting I'll herf again with a crowd. What IUROX did with everything in one pic was cool, noone feels slighted and the thought behind it is what mattered.

I just been following the thread and enjoying the smack talk. I like to interject something funny in my posts to try to keep it light and the thought behind it clear to both the noobs and the vets. WT, You know I like to bring something extra to feel I contributed, this is just my way to do that. I had been planning a vet gift "five cigar blind taste test game" before this anyways. I still may if since this will get me all the addy's.

I am posting clearly and most definetely: "any vet revenge can be a full forum armed forces troop smackdown"

Maybe that can start the healing process between vets and noobs.....

Ya know, after we get done packing sand in yer azzes, ya whiny beeeeeotches!!!

Let the war continue

I think for the most part all of the noobs here are really great people with kind and giving hearts!

I think WT is just looking out for the better good of all here and wants to make sure this board remains a fun place to come and relax. I clearly see his point without
it meaning any offense. He is a vet and deeply cares about this board and almost every one on it! I think he is trying to make sure that everyone understands how 90% of us think on the boards and why we do what we do.

That way there is no confusion and you guys who have not been around to long understand how we feel! I think it is great you want to give back.I always tell my noobs that when they get more experience to do just that!If it is to the troops or on the newbie thread!

I know WT as well as the rest of us want to avoid any hurt feelings of expectations.I always felt this place as a very GIVING place.I never really expected anything from anyone! It is easy to get caught up in and want to participate! You guys are great and it is nice to see everyone having fun and being so generous.

Just my .25 cents lol , now don't you girls have some eggs to hunt!

Oh and guys please do remember our troops this Easter and every day! So many ways to give here! I will always happily help with any assistance needed!

I think I said it my email to ya WT, you vets do a lot for us noobs, you guys put up with our stupid ISOM questions, cello on or off, then comes a noob trade and ya'll feel obligated to smack us into oblivion with $$$ worth of cigars. So I like the thought of some thank you package coming back to you guys. Now I dont have the ammo to be involved in every hit on the Vets, but I will gladly thank any of those that have made me consider building a bomb proof mailbox.
