With Hillary and Bill both having approval ratings in the high 20's(Her Majesty) and low 30's(Mr Monica)I would imagine the DNC would just as soon see both of them step out of the limelight for a spell! It seems that all of the publicity they are getting is completely negative(not something new) but it is hitting the Democrats pretty hard! Tie that with Jesse "Hands in your Pockets" Jackson's latest scams being brought to the front, and things are really amiss among our more fashionable elite of the Democrats! Such a shame for three sham artists to be disrespected(hood talk) by the National Media.

Funny. When the "right" minded folks who frequent this board bashed Bubba last season, one of the FAVORITE responses by his supporters was how POPULAR he is. Now that he is three links lower on the food chain the same leftists want to pretend he never existed. We haven't changed our battle cry, we only now have proof of it. It may be "boring" or perhaps even immature to say this, but "we told you so"... Now, with that said, I contend that we commit the most feared act ever on the Clintons. Forget about 'em! They will be dead in 18 months if they're out of the spotlight and they know it.

Gaiter, hard to agree with that statement, since they havent really changed! Most of us knew all along (including their supporters)what they were really like and now that the liberal media has even turned on them and is actually reporting the truth(gasp) and not shading the truth........."The Heat is On!" I will try to refrain from postings on Hillary and Bill!

Your living in your own world and taking your opions to be the views of the majority. Typical Republican point of view. This is taken from the New York Times March 3rd: "On the eve of Mr. Bush's address, a new ABC News/Washington Post poll showed that Bill Clinton, even now that Hugh Rodham's fat has been thrown on the fire, still had a slightly higher job approval rating than his successor. The attention paid to former President Clinton in the past month is an incredible testament to Bush's weakness and lack of legitimacy. Even dropping bombs on a country half way around the globe is not enough to get Bill and Hillary off the front pages. It is also a stark display of the failure of Bush to capture the national agenda, offer a vision for the future, or seduce the national news media into covering his tenuous residency at the White House.

I agree Bill, the Clinton's still dominate the spotlight and they will continue to for a very long while. While negative press can give the appearance of popularity it can also keep alive a testament to how the country still perceives Bill Clinton did while he was in the White House. Most of this country still agrees with the majority that had he been able to run for a third term, he would have won hands down. So do I like it or approve? NO, not on a personal level. I do however identify with this countries feeling of nostalgia. Mr. Bush has yet to do anything even resembling unifying nation. Take a look at the press coverage since the supposed election of GW. It's major stories have been from New York, not from Washington.

Which media is that? The "conservative" media? Oh yeah, that doesn't exist. The reason Bush is NOT front page is because he hasn't stepped on his own ******. When/if that happens, the liberal media will be there. I don't write the newspapers, I just read them.
