The damn conservatives are at it again, in an attempt to legislate morality! They seem to believe that it is the government’s responsibility to tell me what I can and cannot do, while letting big business run rampant with out any checks. They seem to think that if left unchecked, businesses and the rich will maintain the welfare of the people, when this has proven false time and time again. Their latest effort to legislate morality is to prohibit companies from shipping tobacco, beer and wine into Georgia. What they consider "sins". And so they legislate that the rights of those that do not share the same beliefs do not have the same rights as they do. Typical of the conservative mentality. "SB 208 is designed to stop customers from ordering such products by electronic means...." Someone needs to tell these Fascist Conservatives that just because they do not agree with something, does not make it wrong for everyone! Please tell these Conservatives that it is not their role in govt. to legislate morality. Government’s role is not to preach to the people but to serve the people. Not the special interests that have a death-grip on the Republican Party. You may contact Billy Ray at: [email protected] You may contact Rusty Paul at: [email protected]

Liberals try to force immoral behavior down our throats. Murder of the unborn. BUTT f***ERS leading a cub scout pack. Taxing the piss out of us. Denying freedom of speech for political correctness. Confiscation of guns and ignoring the 2nd amendment. Prayer in schools or any mention of God. Making victims
out of everyone no more personnal responsibility.
Let alone ban tobacco products or tax them out of the reach of "working families".
You got to love them liberals for not trying to force their perverted/immoral behavior on us.

Let alone the Liberal film director(Rob Riener) who led the ban on smoking of tobacco products in virtually any damn building in California, and then claimed it was for the good of the people! He should be one of your favorite people! Talk about preaching morals and telling us how to live our lives! At least GWB will not turn the White House into an expensive house of ill repute like the Clinton's!

I checked out a Government sight on Georgia. Now it seems you have a Democratic Governor and L gov.The Senate has 32 Dems,24 Reps. The House has 105 Dems and 75 Reps.So it looks like its a stacked Deck in favor of the Dems. Now I know there may be a few Democratic Conservatives but I don't think there is enough evidence to blame this on the Conservatives as a whole. This Bill is also co sponsered by 2 Dems and 2 Reps. http://www.legis.state.ga.us/Legis/2001_02/sum/sb208.htm....Bill I do sympathize with your situation coming from Calif. I fell your pain.LOL.But if this thing flies I don't see how you can blame Conservatives as a whole.Seems like a hokie ass law though? You can by liquor and Tobbacco but you have to purchase $50 of another non offensive product to be legal? Is this true?

Uncle, based on JJ's information why did you blame conservatives? Just curious. Also, has this bill passed or is it just a proposal? Sounds unconstitutional to me. Good Luck.
