Why have so MANY liberals in the media taken the side of China for holding our service people hostage???? Just last night, Alan Colmes (of Hannity and Colmes on Fox News) kept crying about "hearing both sides" before we drew any conclusions. Both sides?? From a Communist Country holding our people HOSTAGE !!? A country that kills innocent girl babies ? This is America, and we will get both sides eventually. But until then we need to support our Country, our Military, and our People with every ounce of pride that we can muster up. This is ridiculus, and once again it is led by the Liberal Media.

i don't read the "liberal media", but anyone that doesn't recognize these men and woman as HOSTAGES should have his or her head examined. the only reason we are putting up with this "we must save face" cr*p from china is because of the HOSTAGES. lets hope someone in washington can come up with a solution to get these people back quickly. the hell with they are being taken care of and fed properly, thay are in JAIL.

Katie Curic, NBC Super Liberal, said this morning "the US should apologize!"...for what? I am sick of the liberal talking heads, defending the rights of the Chinese in this incidient. I have sent email to NBC and followed up with a letter suggesting that Ms Curic(don't know how to spell it and don't care)quit trying to suggest US policy! And now, Jesse Jackson, has stuck his two bits in the ring and volunteered to go and get the hostages released! The Liberals will never give up on their man losing the Presidential race no matter what happens. I never thought I would see the day, when the US Media spoke out against US Service men and women being held hostage by the Chinese Communists! Charlie

And furthermore, will someone please tell the Media, there is a difference between a Reconnaissance Plane and a Spy plane! This is a fact and information gathering aircraft with no intent to be a spy plane. Spying is a covert operation. Not right out in international airspace in clear sight. Now if they were in ChiCom airspace.......different story! China should appologize to the US for endangering our aircraft and crew! Charlie

What us apologize? I dont' think so. We didn't do anything wrong. All we did was take a peek at their infrastructure which is about what they do to us. Have these guys got on one-way blinders? I dont' know about the "liberal media" per se but since when has flying into international air space considered tatamount to taking HOSTAGES???. This whole thing is a bunch of crap if you ask me. I'd rather fly a F-110 into Bejing and give them a piece of my mind than give into these political thugs. BTW, did they know there was a Bush in the White House or what?????....Brent

And another thing....I hope the Chinese government got all the pictures they wanted and took their sweet ass time measuring the plane head-to toe because they can't seem to get it any other way!!!!!....Brent

APOLOGY TO THE PEOPLES REPUBLIC OF CHINA

It is with deep regret, hesitation, and contrition that I, The President
of the United States of America, offer apology to the Chinese
nation and its peoples.

I apologize for the heinous act performed by our large, sluggish, propeller
driven, airplane when it got in the way of your
highly maneuverable, supersonic, technologically
superior, jet aircraft.

Furthermore, I sincerely regret the fact that by flying in international
airspace, we afforded your "highly competent" pilot the opportunity
to fly his aircraft into our own, causing him to
spiral to his death into the ocean. We regret the choice made by said pilot
when he used deficient judgment in electing to attempt aerial intimidation
upon our slower moving, unarmed, surveillance vehicle.

This situation brings to mind a similar episode when I was in grade
school and my face got in the way of the school yard bully's fist.
He broke a bone in his hand and I felt as compelled to
apologize for that incident as I do for this one.

Let me summarize by stating that it is our sincere hope that you accept
this "heart felt" and "sincere" apology for the actions committed
by your pilot.

We are sorry that we got in the way. We are sorry that we were forced to
leave international airspace and land in Chinese territory. We
are sorry that you were forced to provide food and
housing for our military personnel.

Most of all, we are sorry that you have, in your possession, some of our
most technologically advanced surveillance equipment on the planet. I hope
that you can find it in your heart to forgive us. I hope that soon you
will be compelled to release our men and our property. because I really
don't want to have to apologize again when we have to KICK YOUR ASS.

Sincerely,

George W. Bush
President of the United States

Apologize NEVER. They should be apologizing to us.
They caused this. The only mistake we made was landing in ENEMY territory and expecting them to act like a
civilized people. The plane should have been ditched at sea in international waters. You don't land am airplane with hi-tech equipment in an ENEMY country and not expect them to steal everything. This senerio should
been part of their training.
Now that they're there and until their return we should begin tighting the screws with every weapon system Taiwan wants , a trade embargo, No olympics
,no WTO , no student visas, kick their ass out of Panama.
Then maybe apologize for having to kick their ass.

The ChiComs are supposed to be releasing our flight crew today, as we have a plane headed that way to pick them up! F_ _ _ K Red China and boycott their products and American products made in China! Chances are they were made by children that were underpaid and taken advantage of by the Communist Pricks! Charlie
