When known sex offenders are released from prison and move into a community, how much information should new neighbors be given? Should the neighborhood have the right to refuse them? I'm speaking specifically of child molestors, but I'm sure rapists could qualify as well.

I believe that they should be released in the neighborhood of a parole board member or the judge that sentenced him that allowed him to be up for parole.
All neighbors and residents in a 1 mile radius should be aware of the predator. If after 5/10 years of good behavior on the streets perhaps consider allowing him to move on.

Is that 5 to 10 years after the child learns to trust adults again? Or perhaps after the nightmares stop. Or is it 5 to 10 years after the victim has had an opportunity to be a kid again, since the sicko denied them of that. Convicted Child molestors should be castrated and branded. No exceptions.

Convicted murders, rapists and child molesters SHOULD NOT be allowed to get out of prison to prey on society for a second or third time. They should be used for medical experimentation. At least society will get something good out of their otherwise useless lives. Thankyouverymuch.
