Anybody out there an admitted fairweathered fan? I hated seeing all the "life long" Greenbay Packer fans when the Pats lost to them in the Superbowl. But where are they now? No more snot-green and baby-**** yellow jackets or t-shirts floating around this way. Now every homey on the steet corner has a Lakers shirt. What ever happened to following a team through the thick andn thin? Being a "fan" when they're winning is easy.

Obviously you haven't been to the MS gulf coast in the last 5 years, All them snot-green and baby-**** yellow "slackers" stuff is here. I personally have been a life long fan of the MN Twins and am glad to see them back to the winning ways. BTW where have all the Cowboys fans gone?

Most of the Cowboy fans been rounded up from the crack houses the Michael Irwin took them to. Go Astros.

It is fun to watch the "lifelong" and "diehard" fans change teams with one losing season or more! Living in Southern California and being a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the KC Royals, I have seen many of the "lifetime" Chiefs fans change colors, since they have had the past few bad years under Guenther "Popguns" Cunningham, but hope to see some of these "diehards" return when Chiefs get back to winning! Of course, I really don't care who these "winner" supporters pull for, since they change colors with a few wins or losses. Most of the Cowboy fans seem to have converted to the prison Black & Silver of the Crackers, whoops I meant Raiders! Charlie

also flute is everyone's favorite. when he did not start the superbowl, when he got them there, his coach was HATED. watch the chargers this year, win or lose they will be exciting. sort of like (but not quite) the man for all seasons, montana

That was not the Superbowl, it was the AFC Championship game that Rob Johnson started over Flutie. Thing is, Johnson had MVP numbers in that game and Buffalo would have won except for that fluke play on the last kickoff. As for the Chargers, I believe MY New England Patriots will host them in Foxboro this season. I will be there to watch Junior Seau cry "No Mas"!

What you will see will be like Junior against the Pats!
The Chargers truly suck! They are so bad, that they can't give away a full house! Charlie

Here I am! I may be the last, but yes, I am a diehard Cowboys fan; have been all my life. And I don't do drugs. (Maybe they would help this year, though?)

You're a TRUE fan, CL, if you can admit that this season. The 'boys will surely be bottom of the barrel.

....but with this free agency, it can't last for too long! Give us a couple of years to get all this dead money cleared away, and Jerry will be back on a shopping spree! It could be worse; I could be a Redskin fan.

Maybe they are going to play with out a quarterback, like maybe go to the single wing or shotgun full time! They will be lucky to win three games this year! Sorry CL, but than is one of the really bad things about not having a backup quarterback. I cannot stand Jerry Jones, almost as badly as I dislike Al Davis! But, hate to see the Cowboy fans go through this one......it will be painfull! Charlie

Nothing personal, CL, but go find a nice 4 year old imported beer. Leave in direct sunlight for 5 days and then chill to freezing. allow to thaw and enjoy. That may seem bitter, but compared to the 'boys upcoming season it will somehow appear sweet in comparison...

Tony Banks will tell you that would mean leaving it frozen.
