Did I spell his name right? Anyway, I just caught the tail-end of an interview with him. I may have missed his primary point, but from what I gathered, he made an EXCELLENT point: As horrific as this all is, it is merely a wake-up call to the world. Think about this -- sometime in the future, as technology advances and pricks (I paraphrase!) like bin Laden spend more money, will they not some day gain nuclear technology? Can you imagine the devastation then? Netanyahu calls for swift action. We must squash this now. I'm not for bombing the rest of the world, but we certainly need this stopped now. My prayer for my children is that THIS event will be the one event they recall when they are grandparents, not merely the first of many more and many more severe. God help us!

I completely agree. We ought to stone-age them. And as I read in some op/page then we ought to convert them to christianity.

Let me clarify something: When I say "merely a wake-up call", I certainly don't mean to make light of the magnitude of this tragedy. It's the worst thing I've personally ever seen in my lifetime. But, the point here is that we've got to act swiftly with all our might to stop this, or the future could see something even worse, which is just unimaginable at this time, but possible.

I agree...time was when our nation, our intelligence network, our military, our reach, was feared....In days forward other nations should tremble in dread that ANYONE within their boarders would so much as plan a U.S. flag burning....Hand over Bin Laden et al or share in his fate.

I have often felt that the "freedom" to burn an American Flag, as defended by the ACLU, was one that should be rewarded with a round from a .45, and now I am sure that we have been "awakened" into a country of even greater resolve than when the Japanese attacked Peal Harbor! They will regret these hideous acts against America! We will once again be the country that will be respected and that will not allow others to tread on our country and our flag! God Bless America.
