Tony Blair has taken the lead from the European side of the Terriorism issue and is proving what a great ally to the United States that Great Britian really is and that they are dedicated to the overthrow of World Wide Terrorism. He further challanged the Taliban and pretty much told them their time is drawing to an end! I only hope his leadership will inspire other nations to pitch in with the same support and vitality. I heard Prime Minister Blair's speech today and it was really strong and hard hitting, as he once again put Terrorist Groups and their leaders on notice! Also, pointing out that "if you provide safe harbor or support the terrorist you are siding with the side of Evil!" What a great speaker Prime Minister Blair is and a very dedicated leader! Charlie

Tony Blair's reply to our tragedy has been tremendous but what about the rest of NATO or the Europeon countries? It seems that they are slow to join in this unity against Terrorism!

Most of them are expecting the US and Great Britian to do all the dirty work for them! However, as long as they are cooperating and arresting terrorist, so be it! Charlie

While I agree that his speech was positively marvelous, a work of genius GB hasn't seen seen since Churchill, I have to say that their alliance with us will most likely be viewed as no big deal. A few reasons: First of all, it's part of the logical progression that if the top of the 'civilized' countries will act against a common threat, the other one will too.......especially if they're close allies. The second reason is, Tony Blair would LOVE to use this as an excuse to take a shot at the IRA. What hard to understand is that the IRA has virtually given up trying to change the history of Irland. They garner power from chaos, which makes them extremely dangerous to the stability in those parts. The last time the Brits tried to deal with'em in the forcefull way, people got cheesed because the SAS seems a little 'harsh', so now he has the perfect excuse to unleash them again. I'm not downing his speech, just trying to lend some insight. -d

I think the SAS is the cure for the disease. Go Blair GO!!! He's got balls, and that's what these times require. Bush has balls too, and I hope he uses them for something otherthan his wife. Kill em GW, and take no prisoners. Hangings too good for em, and all that jazz. Let Bin Laden be a martyr, it will show the rest of the cells what happens to martyrs lol. Better yet, capture his ass, and let a woman throw the switch on the electric chair, they would love that. First order of business is to get some guns into the women of Afganistan's hands, they are pissed!!! A woman with a gun can be a helluva weapon in itself.

MontanaJack, if we arm the Afghan women we can finally say "look at the guns on her" and be politically correct!

Gaiter, another great thing in this war, is that the PI forces seem to have withdrawn! Maybe that is a term that will go away! I hope! Charlie
