Just sittin here at work waiting for the weekend. Smoking a Padron Aniv Knock Off which I won a while back. Not a bad little smoke: Beautiful wrapper, exagerated box-press, somewhat soft and cushiony, good draw and fairly tasty, especially for the price. BUT, I find it hard to believe that these compare to the overpriced stick they claim to copy. Anybody out there smoke both? How do you compare them?

I am extremely impressed with the knock-off Padron anniversary. Not only is the construction impeccable, but it tastes great. It lacks the powerful, complex taste of the real thing, but it is a close alternative. They are excellent.

I like the Knock Offs. They are not an Anniversario, but at $60 for 20 vs $240 for 20, they are a damn good alternative. I have some that I have had down now for about 4 months and they do get even better! I am realy curious as to how they will be in 4 and 8 more months.

OK, thanks for the responses. I think we all agree that these are indeed decent smokes for the buck. But why call them Padron Aniv Knock Offs if they are not really that similar? I don't like the gimmick of calling something it isn't.
