Martz is not only nuts he is one of the most egotistical of all the Sports pricks! He will not even acknowledge Vermiel ever coached in STL! Who? When? Oh, yeah........as big a jerk as Brian "Me Whine" Billick. Charlie

Bets have nothing to do with it. It was a stupid move. You do not let the franchise continue to play and risk injury when you have the game won.

we are in agreement about pulling warner and faulk. i wish i knew what was in all their minds. warner and or faulk could have asked to be pulled. i don't think martz is stupid or nuts, so what is your take on his obviously (in most people's minds) dumb move leaving them in. kobe and shaq sit out the 4th quarter when the game is in the bank.

Rick, I will take Philly and 36 points or more! Martz gets off by running up the score! He is a worse "gentleman" than Bileck by far! Charlie

I just heard on the way home from work that Martz said he would have "pulled Warner if he had known he was still in"!?!?!?!! Mike, did you expect the waterboy to pull him, you are the head coach. Not knocking Martz (too bad), but his mentor would not have allowed this. Steve GO RAMS!!!!!

Sorry, had to get that off my chest before I read the previous posts. Rick, I hate to agree with Charlie, but I think it may be ego on Martz part. He is in that invincible mode and logical thinking is not kicking in. As far as Faulk and Warner, I think they just want (and love) to play football, but Martz has got to use his brain instead of his testicles to make these calls in the future. Note to Martz: 300# men running at full speed with the intent of removing the head of another man can cause injury to said man. Steve

He was stupid...but guess what. We got Steve Spurrier in Wash. next year the inventor of the "run up the score" offense. Todd

woodbutchr: i don't diagree with char or anyone about pulling warner and faulk. years ago reilly didn't play any of the laker starters in the final game of the season and paid a $25,000. fine. the outcome of the game didn't affect the playoffs. i don't know why martz didn't. ego would suggest save them for the next game, but ?
