gradually but surely my cabinet is being invaded with these fine cigars, I mean how can one pass up all these great deals on them here? It started with getting three boxes of the Vintage doble corona, then five boxes of the pyramids, then three boxes of the regular line doble corona, and tonight three boxes of the torpedoes. Not to mention the large supply I had on hand already in the aging process. I suspect when we get the new CI catalog in the mail there will be more 5 Vegas specials, including more boxes of doble coronas as they did not auction off the complete 1000 boxes up for auction I believe, plus who knows how many they have on top of that. I only wish they looked as good as the picture in the CI catalog. I think the only cigar I have more of are Puros Indios/Cuba Aliados.

Hey, Aberdeen. Are the Cinco Vegas REALLY THAT good, or just a decent cigar at a good price? I picked one up from my "box pass" that will be lit within the next few minutes. I'll guess I'll find out for myself.

Have you noticed on the CI site that the Vintage Selection is quite a bit cheaper than the Gran Reserva? Which do you like better?

Is Cinco Vegas really that good? Well, I think they are a great everyday cigar at a good price. I compare them to La Finca but a bit milder. Quite a descent Nicaraguan.

My first experience with a Cinco Vegas was when I won a box of the double coronas here at cigbid and I instantly became a fan. The price can't be beat, but if I paid $4 for one in the past, that would not deter me from buying more (I SAID "in the past," and now I'm liking the $1/stick thing I found here, so don't get any ideas cigbid :) ). If they put more of those boxes up for auction, please email me gonz or keith, count me in. (it's not fair to compare these to Opus X, and other super-premiums, so I've eliminated them from my response)

after good aging, these cigars are excellent, and a wonderful buy for the money, personally I prefer the regular line over the vintage, but are one of my regular after dinner smokes

personally the vintage pantela is the one. i know, i usually hate this size to, but for some reason it has a strong but sweet flavor or something that is totally wunderbar. my nightly ritual has become a 5V vintage panatela while i walk my dog. my wife actually encouraged me to bid on another box of these to get me out of the house more . WOMEN?!?

I bought a box of 5 Vegas lonsdales last year, smoked them all, and liked them a lot. I bought four boxes of the corona dobles just because of the great price but I am surprised to find just how good these things are. A couple of times I have had a 5 Vegas craving because they have their own distinct flavor which I like. They already have plenty of time on them so they've been my everday smoke since I got them. If they come around again I'll probably pick up a couple more boxes.
