Also:
When you're out and find yourself without a cutter,
grab a ball point pen and jam it into the center of the cap.
You gotta be sure to have the circumference of the tip tightly held in your hand so that you don't crack the wrapper

Tried a lot of different things to augment the draw on tight cigars but finally quit being a cheapskate and got this:

While I rarely have to use it, when I do, it usually “fixes” the cigar on the first attempt...can’t say the same with the toothpicks / bamboo skewers / nails / drill bits / icepicks, etc. that I tried in the past.
I realize the price may scare some off but after a few times, it will pay for itself.
